Sweeping is really tiring. I would say hopeless esp btw 1pm to 4pm. Probably i'm inexperienced

my best trip was Zouk Out
from sentosa to orchard = $100

To enjoy the trade is only in the beginning, after a few month to a year, enjoyment became judgment, you decide to carry on or not, if so, you will drive for life. Last time driving taxi, before UG, still very passionate, cos can make lot of money, now also can make, but about 10% lesser, problem is now, you even have to work harder for pathetic fares, so the passion will slowly diminish as the trade slowly dissolve itself into the disruptor hands. But as a lau Uncle, or those driving for more than 5 years, it is very hard for you to go back to working life, because you will not able to withstand the discipline and someone ruling on top of your and all other office politics. Furthermore, who would want to employ lau locals in today job market, so it is better for lau uncle to carry on driving, evolve and adapt to changes, because no matter how you kpkb about UG or apps, they are already here and evolving. Just hear a girl told her friend she took grabhitch from Chua Chu Kang, (my ex chief place) to AP only $16...

GH max fare is $16 per trip whole island, and many drivers are using the quickhitch function in grab app to pickup pax. Altho GH is a share ride home to office, office to home max two rides per day as per LTA rules n regulation. I knew quite a number of drivers they are doing more than that during chit chat FB/online group, even tho I advice them running illegal taxi business without proper motor insurance is a huge risk and ROI is not worth doing so etc. Anyway they could be just a small group running AP trips.
Grab in the app itself does not limit the GH driver on max 2 rides and I think LTA may not audit also. As I email and askLTA if they would do ramdom check or enforcement? Their formal reply is asking me to provide date/time/location/driver information and willing to testify in court, since I don't have such information I didn't reply LTA.

You are talking to an authority aka LTA, who agreed to grab pricing and business model. And who, share the same boss. So, indirectly speaking, you are talking to the creator of GH. Chinese said, take own Lanjiao and knock own head.

Just remember to have 7 hours of sleep...when it's time to go for breaks, go for it. Rather then, when want to go toilet, you see pax you take...and end up drag another 1/2 to hour or so...your bladder for now can take it...long term, cfm die!

Only able to catch abt 5 hrs of sleep daily since started taxi driving
