  As a passenger in a taxi or any public transport, if I see anything suspicious or anyone that is suspicious, I will definitely inform the taxi driver first or the vehicle operators and keep a watchful eye on the terror suspect or any suspicious articles. If that fails, then I will definitely inform the authority. Then I will standby and see what next to do while awaiting for the authority to take action. One day, somewhere 2012 I think, very early morning around 6 am plus, at Orchard Road underpass that linked to Tangs, I saw a bag next to the escalator that was going up to Orchard Road. There were nobody near that bag. So when I reach the top of the escalator, I informed about the bag to the Security officer outside at Tangs main entrance. But the Security officer just told me that it was probably belonging to the disable busker that always stationed there. So I took his explanation and walk off, thinking that he knew about the bag. This is not about trying to be a hero here. It is the right thing to do. It is the moral thing to do.

  You're right. A Suicide Bomber would blow themselves up when the taxi is within the congested and crowded place.

  The ironic is that when it is time to die, you will die lah, no need smlj terrorist here and there, on or off cab, but if it is not time for you to die..you die die will not die so that you can carry on suffering.

  I agree with you to some extend. We must show we are not afraid of them. See them like nobody and nothing. They are zero to us. We must carry on with our daily lives and continue living, regardless whether you are suffering or not suffering in your life.

  No lah, we must be afraid of them too, without afraid, there will be no preventive action, so be afraid is normal, but as long as we keep vigilant and care, we can prevent terrorism from happening Just like dengue, Aedes mosquito are always there, you can never get rid of them, we are all afraid to get it, but as long as we take care and do the necessary action to prevent it breeding and forming, we can at least prevent it, but of course not 100%.

  Worst is taxi driver become a terrorist, but that probability is small, unlike pte apps like grabcar and Uber whereby foreigners are allow to do it without much screening, Singapore govt could be touting on lack of security here.

  Unlikely for cabbies to become terrorist. It did not happen in malaysia or indonesia, it wont happen here. I also never heard of cabbies in middle east blowing up their own taxi.

  Drive cab is to earn money. The mindset is very different from a terrorist. That is why you hear of suicide bombers boarding a packed bus. But taxi? Come on, terrrorists are not so stupid.
