many night pax like to flag taxi at bus stops. KNN, missed a few, thought they wait for bus and they always flag last minute

Actually I prefer continuous short trips but that's not possible. Surely you kena come back to queue so not worth the time.
I know some offices in industrial areas got calls. Got one time, got a booking call from an office in Serangoon Ave 5 at about 1am. Reached there, saw a SMRT cab waiting outside for pax and I just went in to pick up my pax. Quite pity him, think he did not use app otherwise he would have got the call.
My last resort if no pax after midnight? Cheong to MBS and queue. Surely have, just wait and Q.

Mon-fri
Peak hrs shorter trips aka shutter service (5pm-830pm)
Later around 830pm can move to longer trips bcoz less jam
After midnite longer the better tuas end also song lol
Sat-sun
No issue everywhere also can go

So, actually driving Cdg with gt calls, no bad mah, you got both world to play with, but of cos in gt, it belong to the mass market and cdg calls is soley yours

This Hari Raya long weekend business will be poor or not? I think Thur evening should be hot, Friday evening maybe not as hot, then Sat & Sun probably same level. Talking night shift.

Hari raya day can sweep all day join by fri nite
Be prepared taxi sure full wan mostly 4 ppl will board during hari raya day
Tmr nite can go bk early n rest
Standby for Thursday lol

Hold those horses, as I said, times are bad, even our 2nd Quarter is showing only 1.7% growth. The knn excuses by govt is alway due to labour shortages, meaning they want us to bear with more foreigners coming in instead of pushing Corporation for productivity growth. During mid year, most companies will give some bonuses, but sadly for this year, companies are holding back and become more conservatives, and to be frank, for months, I did not get a contract in Oil and Marine industrial, it is in a bad shape. Therefore base on such background, never expect a good Hari raya, cny or christmas, most of us may huat, but will not be as good as previous years of glory. And coupled with grabcar and uber car etc etc in competition, harder times lies ahead, and as for the govt, all I have to say is that, they better do some intervention into all these car shit,,,otherwise, expect TDs to vote them out

SG economy is very dependent on FTs. Plus we are such an open economy surely affected if world economy shakes. No choice but for pappy gahmen to push for more FTs, FWs, etc, so expect more ang moh, ah neh, ah tiong, -- TDs huat lah.
As for elections, Lao Lee used to be concerned about TDs because before the internet and social media, TDs can influence a large portion of the voting population with their talk and gossips. Obviously, Lao Lee wants to win them over for political purposes.
But now, the power has shifted to social media, mobile media, etc. TDs won't be so well taken care liao, especially since Lao Lee is now gone.
I expect Uber to stay & flourish here. If not, why GT goes into Grabcar? Remember GT got Temasek behind. A friend working in LTA says the office even got GT stickers and banners all over the place.
Probably a new licensing scheme will be created for this new class of drivers - the pirate license. Let's see.
