  with all the feedback, i think i better just hang on first. maybe not maxi for the time being.

  maybe i'm hearing 'stories' that maxi makes good $

  Not only LIMO AND MAXI driver words cannot trust...most of these drivers are from normal taxis, all taxi drivers words also can trust fully... tia kong alot LIMO and MAXI driver go back to drive PIRUS, same goes to Wish Drivers...all these people how to trust? Now I also must becareful PIRUS drivers, same same like our govt

  Maxicab is really not easy. Need to find yr client base and "sar kar" the callers. Also need to beware of call takers who steal yr clients by saying rubbish after they POB. One injection of lies and you lost your regular.

  if you enjoy all this go ahead. Most of the maxi durian heads left the maxi talkie group 2-3 yrs ago. They upgraded to private vianos. Same thing with 4-seater mercs. Those who did well, such as 8898, already bought their dark blue private e200 liao.

  There are also normal cabbies who throw key, bought their own vios, altis, sunny and became pirate taxis or grab car or uberx drivers.

  Aiya, be it maxi , e200 or pte limo..still hv to drive and work mah. In another words, still a DRIVER. So, my advice to TS is, as you are not young anymore...just be a simple taxi driver, go time, come Sin Ming road or Loyang Ave look for me, limpek treat you to some good curry fishheads lunch, thereafter, find a nice place to hv a nap, then, go back to driving again.

  Singapore taxi driver world is, you see him good, he sees you good, but actually all are not so good. So at times, instead of seeing the goods, why not look around to see the bad...tell me, how many maxi driver can end up dring Merc e200?

  Brother f1, $30 per day net meaning saving $30 per day excluding all other expenses, I at least still can save $30 per day, many cabbies dun even save anything, $30 per day, per month will be $900, per year will be $10,800....cannot treat you all to curry fish head meh??? no problem lah sap sap water./.., unless you said Long beach or Jumbo...then I maybe need to open backside. In life, happiness come from giving, not from taking

  Hello Mr Lim, there is a different btw borrow and giving hor. In giving, we must also not expect return, if you do that, that is not giving, that is more of a trade off. Just like our knn Govt, whatever they give you, becareful, they will find another ways to take back from you or your family + interest. Understand bo? Giving is not merely abt monetary, it can be a friendship, a helping hands on a tyre puncture by the road, a word of advice, or simply, a joke that can put a SMILE in your face.
