Should I upgrade to maxi or limo?

  Go for it bro. Other than rental difference, dressed differently and customer different. What other difference or challenge? Heard need to give out namecards to customer too.

  So far all my ex kakis still driving limo, bo ani jiak lut la.....

  Limo driving bo season one, all depend on your mouth and still mouth but mouth.....

  I suggest limo as next step. Maxi very hard lah. Down season you are not much better than a toilet cleaner pay wise. Even if you want to, road sweeping with a van is not ideal. Many pax also dun want. See big van run away.

  Maxi has season. School holidays season piang like crazy. If not need depend on regular customers or join limo group (very politic). One very famous caller in Maxi market is Elsie.

  Drive Merc practically is a Mon to Fri market. You only have 3 type of market.

  1) People desperately need taxi. Morning / Evening Peak.

  2) Ah Gong money market. Especially after midnight you will need to know where to queue.  

  3) Tai tai market. East Coast / Bukit Timah / Orchard / Sentosa Cove normally during off peak.

  Drive Merc just by CDG jobs & street jobs also can survive even OMO. But you will need road info especially coming to airport queue. Clock your G Jobs regularly (10 in 3 months) sometimes CDG can throw you durian. Even disposal also have. Want limo jobs join team but very politic. Need entertain here & there. Sometimes take acount jobs after job done caller went MIA.

  Drive Merc 1st thing have to be able to take rejections although the rejection rates is not as high as Chrysler.

  limo got 2 BIG advantages. but say already, most people still wont understand wan la. only limo drivers will appreciate fully Number 1. when others busy on the road picking driving passengers, limo drivers rejected by those passengers that others pick-n-go can then drive in front and then back spray others windscreen with their powerful window spray. even if they drive around empty without business, they can also feel more yaya because somehow somewhere they will still find someway to pay the 2XX rent-n-fuel tomorrow and after tomorrow. in this society not only taxi industry BIG Car = BIG Brother Number 2. whenever they see where got taxi stand people queue long long but no taxi, they can turbo chaarge in like a hero and shout $50!..$60!..$80!..$100! or even $200 per trip! better still, if nobody take then must be because nobody can afford, then they can still drive out yaya to make those queue drool saliva because everyone else continue wait while they are still BIG limo hero ma

  Not only weekday peak. Sunday also jin laku. Tai gong got alot of grab $10 job when they cannot book normal taxi

  Lj lah, drive anything also can make money one lah, be it MRT, casket, lorry, bus...it is a matter of want to work/drive or not. Want to work hard for it or not? Taxi driving, be it limo or normal, you go in, either you die or survive, if survived, you will learn the trade out of it, no problem one, but if you haven't go in, hearsay here, tiakong there, all the theories of it, it is of no use, TD is pragmatic job, meaning practical, u hv to drive then you know...it is same like last time when you are a newbie, hear here, scare there, worry here and there, then when you go in, you start to learn...after few months, chiong anywhere also can, after few years, LJ lah, drive taxi, where got difficlt, limpek close eyes also can go around CBD..(13paxs)

  My most jialat days is getting 13 paxs in CBD. ...phui knn learn from your ex chief. I day driver lah. ...nvr teach me properly.

  Dun laugh. ..really kena before. Mbs queue. ..go suntec suntec kena Mbs queue again...kena capital tower. ding dong in CBD. ....For few hours ..plus traffic jam. ...and after morning peak hours ...CBD taxis will queue in MBS. Long queue ....then kena flyer .

  Morning I don't take jobs to CBD. I like Choa Chu Kang to Tuas to & fro. KJE go in jam come out smooth.

  If not another alternative Raffles / East Coast to & fro.

  All these ping pong can go on untill 11 plus. If have morning CBD go Tuas I lagi like. One trip HDB to CBD, CBD to Tuas then 15 mins up KJE to Bukit Panjang sure have call to CBD. Morning sweep hotel can get AMK to Tuas. Afternoon in Tuas wait for call. Sometimes can get last min advance jobs. Don't know way I have Street Directory Soft Copy my tan chiak tool. Google Map no use.

  Evening ping pong CBD different. Ping pong till 9 plus about 11 plus get one long mileage 3.2+3.3+3+25%. The best is play jackpot POB in Raffles 2355 for a long mileage job. Anyway expressways after 2359 anywhere come back CBD also 15 to 20 mins. Recently airport also entered arrival season. Kena airport to Nam Tai before one trip can hit 4 plus.
