Wu cam is 50/50 fault, bo cam hor, unless got strong witness, if not 100% TC driver fault

Very hard to say based on that. Once long ago, I opened a rear passenger door on the left and a motorcysle came and banged it. Still very hard to claim, each settled its own. There on the left - no overtaking on the left - still very hard. Here on the right - each settle on the own is better.

A limo driver I know, now ex limo..his passenger open the door on the right side...heng heng lorry come by and whack the door...whole door fell off...
Cab company terminated him....

Ya..near 5 figures but he accident many many times.

As long you open your car door, (not only pertaining to taxi) some idiots bang into it....
Confirm is the driver fault, whether is passenger open the door or you yourself....
The rule always said, must CHECK, CHECK, CHECK for safety first....
As for taxi, taxi uncle MUST, MUST, MUST ensure passenger safety before allowing them to alight....

I am very careful when pax got intention to alight from the right.
But will still lost the attention while doing money transaction.
So, I consider myself as....... money first, pax safty second.
Think should put up a sign......it is not right to alight

50/50 if only you can a good insurance, bear in mind, the insurance look into the the aspect of you are not looking in front, there is alway a honk and a brake, you did not use, you are therefore deem not alert enough.Car owner fault is only, never check back when opening door.

When plying along narrow road, must alway be alert to any sudden changes, reduce speed , be alert and really to stop

But to compensate $7k, I only heard SMRT very strict on that, their blackies always kanna, a bit, a bit few thousand liao...

That is why the best is not to get into accident, right or wrong is another issue, once you hit, very troublesome, lots of paper works, this and that..haiz.Sometime accident is becos of driver egos, never want to lose, never want to give way because he know he is right, and never want to slow down, gian gian must cut in..the mindset is like, lai lor, ai long come lah...then later suffer..what for??
