health hazards. invest in a good ioniser ? but which one ? does it really works?
i’m sure you guys also faces similar problem…...it won’t be any surprises that we cabby
stand a higher chance of getting LUNG cancer .
how abt wearing N95 while driving ?
maybe should switch to pump from outside kiosk once a week… SOS
Ioniser create ozone which are hazard by itself, esp in a tight enclose place.
What you need is a mechanical air purifier.
But a REAL air purifier for car cost $300 with a running cost of $90 a month......can reduce virus by 70% per hr....and very noisy...like running your aircon at max fan speed all the time.
No lah, there is no proof that exhaust air can cause lung cancer, of course, it is dirty and cause distress and sickness, but anything that burnt also cost problem to our health. For what I know, those cheap scent or perfume use can cause nose cancer in a long run, N95 is particle prevention, not smoke prevention.
Ionsier?? no use one lah, end up your skin become very dry, the hippo brand absorber is a isonsier, what most pte car owner do is use charcoal air filter, cdg is at $40, most of cab use cheap cotton filter, $22 nia. CHarcoal filter absorb the smell and retain the particle, but for me, I just put a few pieces of charcoal can liao, buy ki lan.
For CDG OEM part, you can go veersamy road and buy, if not look for me at loyang level 3, i try to get those accident one until cannot repair, many spare part lor...but on the way, ta bo kopi hor, dun come empty handed,..knn
These day, most cab are Euro4 standard, still got fumes come out?....
I thought only my Euro3 lau kok kok Mercedes emission of black smoke worst than the haze...

Very dirty inside cabin ley...
Smoking more dirty right, in fact, jurong industrial air is consider much more dirty and toxic than you cab cabin,
when I work on board ship engine, come out black color one hor, as long as the atmosphere is not toxic, you can survive on it,
smoking are more toxic and dirty lor, and jurong island is also toxic, that is why lots of peoples, especially kiasee singaporeans all siam shipyard and JI.
Change to CNG or Petrol taxi...confirm bo smelly fumes....
I but charcoal from Daiso $2 nia. Every month change 2 pack works wonders.
Charcoal can also cause skin drying, end up having kind of skin illness call ezcema, if my spelling is rite. This is a no cure skin problem, but not life threatening, usually occur when you are above 40s, too dry, the skin lack moisture, skin become itchy, hehehe...that is why you see uncle scratching here and there, front and back with those scratches stick bought at pasar malam.
Charcoal, old man like me call it a living wood, it actually still surviving and need moisture, therefore, to balance the yin yang in your cab, beside putting charcoal, also must put a wet cloth or bottle of water with poked hole, as such, yr cab will have a much better balance of air flow, dry and moisture in it.
Most cab, especially cdg locked their air intake button, there is only cabin circulate air, the option for air intake from outside is blocked, you press also cannot work..lols
So, for such cab, when no pax around and air outside is nice, lower you window to let fresh air in.
