by default, gps is set to fastest route.
i always look at the route summary view and use it to try to make the route more direct. some route is obviously much longer than a direct one with lots of traffic lights.... so i will ask the pax lor....

don't set to the fastest route or else even obvious or shortest way,it will go by expressway!one time i took a pax fr vivo going to NTUC INCOME at Bras Basah,the stupid GPS ,go by Alexandra rd to Bt Merah to CTE,exit Clemenceau,go by Penang rd ,Orchard rd then bras basah!kena fcuk by pax!actually should just U turn go by Kg Bahru,Chinatown,Victoria st,Middle rd then down Queen st!

i think by my knowledge, i go via keppel, into cecil or via aye exit marina south exit, go towards cross st, chinatown, stamford towards selegie and turn into bras basah

then after pax dropped, you take yr GPS and fark it lah...knn, give me the wrong route, ccb, i get fcuked by pax, now I fcuk you fcuk you fcuk you...phui x100 times..then later, your GPS apologise to you by giving you a pax immediately, try it.But the pax destination will be Vivo again.

Perhaps if you are using IOS or Andriod, you may try using apps called "WAZE". The nevigation has high levels of reliability. But you have to set the preference to Shortest Route and not Fastest Route. FaceBook and Google is trying to buy this WAZE for 1 Billion dollars.
