Aiya not difficult to become your own master. Why not take an exercise book (from your kids or nephews/nieces) or now with smart phones, use them.
Make a note of things and places, timings etc, eventually you'll know where to go and what time to go.
Eg: Say AMK Ind Pak I, every night at 0015hrs, the staff are dismissed and about 5-10 will be allowed to taxi home, you can position yourself there. You can even exchange numbers with them to call you if they wanna a pick up, maybe you gv a few dollars discount as goodwill.
Or say if you're in Woodlands at this time, where do you go? If you take notes, won't it be easier?

Like today, in the middle of rocher road traffic red light, one epica driver lowered his window with 2 ang mos inside and asking me where is Village hotel?? I was like, what the fark? where got time to tell you, light is turning green liao, just point to him backward, hope he get it, and you can see the desparation and sweat on his face, I perfectly understand it, so it is important for us to know our trade.
As said, in TD, everyday is a new begining, a new experiences and a new learning curve both in life and in our driving skills

After eating, must earn back, drive out of BL taxis stand, sure got people going to Jurong island one, mostly ah nehs, but I only take botaks, more clean and nicer, sometime some botaks will give me tips, reduce my duck mee price liao, then go wait at Seraya for call, mostly kenna Esso call back to Boon Lay..&*&%$FARK#$@@!%*
