The Chryslers taxis have been around for 3-4 years already... and these cabbies are indeed making a comfortable earning as compared to the normal cab's meter...
Normal cabs.. u need the 13 MAGIC PAX... this Chrysler Taxi... u need maybe 7-8.
Eventually, the whole industry (including normal cabs) will be joining the 30 cents jump. Mark my words.

Lol, I also siam such pax! No lah dark skinned FT Indians are generally okay especially the construction worker. They will ask nicely if you can go to destination, you need not interview them.
It's only the northern ones that are a bit problematic. Many of them still have this caste system of thinking - being superior to an ordinary worker like a taxi driver etc.
And for pay with large bills and cards, again it's a class issue, they have the tendency to show they doing well, thus use big bills and cards.
But recently I noticed a slight improvement, I think the message has gotten to them or they had been on the receiving end of Singapreans anger.
Now most of the time when I ferry them, they are very polite well behaved and respectful, of course there remains some who still cling on to their 'homeland style' but they seem to be in the minority slowly but surely.
But pls ah, they like to pay by card (usually company card) so if you wanna pick them up, be prepared for cashless payment.

Aiya bro JR, we are talking about pax siam black taxis lah, not TD siam pax lah..aiyo, someone posted that he alway tell his mom to siam those black one, but never said the vehicle or the drivers, therefore, his mom might have a hard time to get a taxis, first she must avoid chrysler, black yellow top, then she also must avoid dark skinned taxi driver like me.

Sure, because white is a direct opposite of black (Orh), no racial intended, you can hardly see a dark skinned face person OBK even if he is OBK, but for a white, you can distinguish it easily, even white color merc also get dirty faster mah
