they haphazardly stop as and when they like on the road to pick up and drop off passengers as if they own the road. some uncle cab drivers are unhappy with you when you tell them which route to take.
heck there is a taxi forum for cabbies here. one thread entitled passenger sucks even. I know some passengers are no angels and is downright nasty, but they are paying you alright. go read some of the threads in that forum, some comments are damn funny and wicked

to be fair, there are bad/good TD, bad/good passengers.
but one thing la, paying doesn't make u king. All boils down to reasonability and respect in my take.

so far those TDs whom I have told to take particular routes have no issues. Only problem is that when you go in the cab, they ask "wanna go where?". Haha I would have reciprocated a "good morning, sir" or " gd evening, sir" anytime.

You can't stop/prevent 'Black Sheeps' among passengers, but you can definitely stop 'Black Sheeps' among TD.

Just want to share,
I have an experience,
One time during a traffic light stop, some pedestrians were crossing the road, then this taxi driver made some rude and obscene gesture about a woman's body part size. He also commented on them and laughed to me.
I was annoyed.
