Hi all,
Intend to prowl the streets for a living soon. Can any Bros advise
which companies has the best deal as a hirer ? Union,Premier
or Comfort ? Sorts of new birdie in this trade but had to make a
living.

Current trend , TransCab Wish ? Still is la i think .
if u got any TransCab hirer friend refer u in , u take $1000 , he take $1000 .
OMO mthly $716 , down from previous $766 . With relief -$50 .
Non Claim Bonus $660 or $600 , this one i not sure .
4 free rental days about $400 .
I calculate all : $8592 + 600 + 400 +2000 = $11,392 for one year
Where to find ?
Go and find one taxi company that match this offer ......
Must be Auto Car . And only 1 year contract .

tat day i told Ken .... the diff between Ken and me , it's he start the month $716 richer than me .
For me , that is 6 day nett salary , sometimes 8 days .... he can shake leg at home and handicap me for 8 days at least . And still beat me .

Some will analyse Comfort's strength , as in plenty of calls ...
i was thinking , and my analysis ..... $11,392 ..... divided by 12 months , $949 , meaning if one bookings nett profit is $3 , that will be 316 bookings they need to provide u to match the $949 , consistently every month , for 12 months .
316 bookings a month ? That is $3.50 booking , $2.50 not included .
316 piece of bookings ????
It may need some analysis on this .

Cashless .... i do have credit card facilities ... not much user , i dunno , i never have any major Nets paying mode problems ....
Nets ? No ? Then i pay cash ....
They chose brands of vehicle over payments modes .
Morning pax never go atm titi money , night paxes already prepared cash for taxis .
That's why i never had problems .

About fuel consumption ...
U calculatye diesel as mileage x cents per litre .
eg , 300km , u roughly paid like 300 x $0.88 cents per litre = $26.40 for Sonata , Crown bigger cc , will consume like 300 x 0.95 cents per litre
If Esso , another similiar calculation .
If CNG , it's 270km , roughly $21 . Sometimes 250km .
For petrol comsumption is 1km = $0.13
xtra 10km $1.30
xtra 20km $2.60
xtra 30km $3.90
So $21 plus $3.90 plus $5 ( unknown ) = $29.90 per 300km average calulcation .

many applicants calculate like $11,392 divided by 365 , it's like taxi company subsidised $31.21 for u on daily basis .
$100 rental - $31.21 , nett rental $68.78 .
This calculation also can ..... more simple format .
Then u go and survey what's the rest can match .....
I am glad they stop at 2000 !
Even if 3000 , will still have more applicants , than Wish is not any special liao , now it's special !

becos of capacity issue , Crown will consume more fuel compare to a Sonata or Wish ... especially 4 years old crown , wear and tear .
Crown 3000cc , Wish 1800cc ..... well VVTI engine somemore .
VVTI , jam or no jam , fuel consumption same la .... that's why VVTI .
Sonata TurboDiesel if kena jam , fuel consumption slightly higher . Same to Magentis .
Skoda V6 and Azera V6 consumed the most fuel .
Merc 2200cc has got the lowest fuel consumption for any diesel powered vehicle .

if TS stay around western part of Singapore , and going OMO , he can really consider a Red Wish , If he stay Tampines and wanted a relief , forget Red Wish !

pool, call means more than $3.5... it means better out of town connections leh... and also during raining.... esp sat... knn empty taxi everywhere during peak.... ang moh in condo usually call.... that's when i steam.... haha

call ! Btw, believe as a hirer, I have free excess to my works
schedule. If I need more $$$, I will be on the streets longer.

last time i thought the same , thought it generate more $$$ for me , but ........ i still trying to figure out why i earn more money with Wish than the booking Sonata .....I asked a few friends , without calls , they were shocked that i earn $30-$40 extra compared to them ..... they were like 5-6 calls extra .
Maybe the tactic is different .

Yes...we all know this a pretty huge sums given out increntives and bonus once you are with them, the only and current taxi company, are hitting hard desperately putting a large show that they are offering and their generosity.
But my question for the total as you told 900 units already on road.
Like this figure each $11392 x 900 units. $10252800 my calculator shown.
Sorry just an general discussion. your expertise and you are the expert in this field. taxi god.
How this $10252800 total sum came from, given to each and every signup $11392.
Issit somehow or rather in the other way taken from those 900 persons who signup like the recent one taxi company..cabbies got some dispute about this issue those daily saving $6.

What? is the actual rental per day..but they are collecting from you $100.
Rental for each taxi 30 days $3000, One year $3000x12 months=$36000 minus 4 rental free $400 total $35600.
$35600 nett x 900 units $32040000 my calculator shown.
We not here to checked their accounts...but where in this world got such good offers. Money falling from above our head.

What? is the cost of a Toyota Wish open market...they do got their operation cost. and those 900 units road tax...and the coe.....the road tax.... the insurance.... the maintenace fee...the staffs salary and etc. And the capital loan for those 900 units the interest to the bank.
In business who will just throw alway money like that.
Even hope to touch first prize 4 D we still need to paid up some money from our pocket, hope to win the prizes.
At the end of the day...Who? will be going to the abattior.

It's not like u sign 5 yr contract then get the money , this is mthly pay-out , everyone of the 900 drivers got that every month .
