  Anyone here can provide any changes to taxis , be made during the F1 week ?

  Any extra surcharge ? From where to where ?

  On Call how ?

  I need those infos , and also some other new cabbies , i need cos last year i quit at August .

  Where will be blocked ?

  Is Suntec actively in business ?

  How about Singapore Flyer ?

  Is it on a Sunday the final race ?

  Which is the taxi stand that has got the most human Q during the week ?

  Anymore other infos to provide ?

  During F1 week , it's another planning ahead ....

  Maybe planning go genting Higland Casino pia the casino for the one week rental ? Kekekekekeke

  many things will change this year compared to last year... as in timing and location of road block, and timing of taxi surcharge.... for location of road block, very complicated and changes with timing and day... better look at the LTA website.... road block starts from Tue/wed nite onwards but last year those assigned taxi stand near suntec got $5 surcharge for 1.5 hours after race (again race timing different for different days)... not enough time to clear the crowd..... this year hopefully they change to 3 hours after race.... so e.g. Fri nite 10.30pm to 1am.... flag down $3, F1 surcharge $5, CBD surcharge $3 (before 12am), on call $3.5 before 11pm.... steam..... me drove Fri and Sat nite.... last year....

  when the road block started on Tue nite, u will be surprise u kena call at suntec area.... cos taxi very hard to go in... me at north bridge kena call at suntec... happy like bird... but jam 15 mins and in the end gave up.... go suntec, best to go by ECP rocher.... but during race timing, avoid ECP at all cost esp the sheares bridge.... during $5 surcharge time, best pick up I heard is along nicol highway behind concourse.... no jam.... me try the suntec one.... sure got call but jam.... the crowd can last easily 3 hours after race end.... me went back 4 times.... the last time, me just pick up from beach road and still whack $5... haha

  Hi All, A bit off topic, but can i check if anybody knows if we can bring our own food in or must we buy from the foodstalls provided? many thanks!

  LTA had came out News Releases on 27 Aug 2009. Can visit the website for more information. Taxi Advisory will also be avaliable soon. Hopefully not as late as last yr.
