With Comfort for more than 7 years , all the way booking for me .
From the old NC2000 MDT , to the 2nd Generation Sapphire , to the current 3rd Generation MDT , all i tested before .
One evening can get 16 ( my record ) . 0 street hire .
Time has changed .
Taking booking ..... might no be neccessary earns more $$$ than street hire .
Now currently driving a TransCab Wish , without much booking , for more than 3 weeks , i only got 1 current booking and 1 advance booking to AP .
But bizarre , i earn more than when i was with Comfort .
And i use less fuel than i was with Comfort .
I broke my personal Friday evening record without booking .
I earn at least 20% more than with Comfort without booking .
Time vs Time , Comfort vs TransCab , same time and duration , i earn more with non-booking TransCab .
Only one good thing about Comfort , at dead zone like Wlands , Yishun or CCK , u might hit one booking to Airport .
U might .... once in awhile .
Advance booking ...... once a while if u are fast enough , u might oso hit one .
Booking strategies has got their own routes , without booking has go their routes and directions .
With booking facility , usually u head to most call zones area .
Without booking , u hit the street all the way down into town .
this morning me only 1 booking, yet from 6.30am-10.30am my collection hit $150. (but today's connections unusually good, pax look for me instead of me being the hunter) when i got 5 or 6 bookings, never even hit $130. cos a lot of wasted time rushing to pickup point and then waiting for pax. my highs are usually achieved with few or no bookings and very good connections. key point is always connection.

I use to have the mentallity take booking those drivers earns more than those street hire , after driving a wish , i discovered , and realized , time has really change .

KCTK, ha...you got a super connection... that translate to my own calculation of your productivity of approximately averaging 75 Km/hr smooth Connection....

i also agree..super! almost no break in connection. blue moon lah. only twice i managed better...
1) 6.30-10.30 $155 ...this one cos peak hour kena booking to jurong island exxon mobil, after pax alight about to get out..ting..booking sakra ave end. go to je st24. where to find? je super connection at 8+. only once jurong island got booking.
2) 7-9am $90 morning peak booking to tuas sth ave 4. after pax alight, booking from raffles marina to gilstead rd. then same place street hire to shenton.
my pattern standard, 6.30-10.30 whack, 10.30-11.15/11.30 break, after break top up diesel then hunt for lunch time pax. 4pm no need to rush & queue to top up diesel. if not lazy or not yet achieved target, can drive until 4.45pm. 4-5pm many pax everywhere, cos no surcharge mah. lol
