PENALTY
The penalties for speeding are as follow:
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 1 to 20km/h
- 4 demerit points
- Fine of $130/- for light vehicle and $160/- for heavy vehicle.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 21 to 30 km/h
- 6 demerit points
- Fine of $150/- for light vehicle and $180 for heavy vehicle.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 31 to 40 km/h
- 8 demerit points
- Fine of $170/- for light vehicle and $200/- for heavy vehicle.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 41 to 50 km/h
- 12 demerit points
- Offender will be prosecuted in Court.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 51 to 60 km/h
- 18 demerit points
- Offender will be prosecuted in Court.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by more than 60 km/h
- 24 demerit points
- Offender will be prosecuted in Court.
- Exceeding speed limit for vehicle/road by 1 to 20km/h

ayiah alot of the taxi drivers got the sonata now love to speed.

not only sonata,i ever saw a crown doing like 130km/h on ecp.
I think it's pretty normal for a sonata and skoda to do 120km/hr

Tke note this 21km to 30km/h and above .... TP's favourite . No warning , straight away summon .
First offense of 1km to 20km/h , i saw many counterparts , gave chance kena warning letter , cannot get caught speeding again , no chance .

once was because i overtake TP
because he travel too slow.

maybe ang mo late for flight ask the driver zoom like rocket

no la , i would think ECP midnight not much traffic the main reason .... most cabby loves speeding after Fort Road . -

normally the police bmw would be park on the road shoulder with their radar gun aiming at on coming vehicles, my fren said i should increase speed to out run the police car as the bmw cannot cannot catch up so fast.

nowadays TP give chance, if they sit at the side and the switch on their bright blue, red and white lights means give u chance to slow down because u can see from damn far.

what the hack is Merc ? Out of sight ? There is no this three words in Traffic Police .U know why they used Impreza ? Cos no car in Sgp is faster than Impreza i guess .

They use impreza meh? I thought they use BMW. TP dare to run above 220km/h? Some cars like Nissan GTR and lambo can go above 300kmh leh, the TP car also can? Anybody who goes above 240kmh in singapore road is siao, really. Btw how they log your speed? If they behind you by 50 or 100 metres still can log your speed?

Want to speed? I believe Malaysia highways can speed after midnight, their TP also hard to catch you.
Merc not good for racing? The car so expensive lol. I thought it should be a pretty good package.
