With what i had experience on 1-8-2009 , i am optimistic about this Eve .
Taxi drivers , any company , going big time .
I am anticipating , minimum u guys can try collection $270 by 2am .
By 3am , try $330 .
By 4am , try to get $380 .
No need luck , just meter running most of the time . Try getting $400 , try ur best .
ALN got drive ??? If ALN doesn't , me one man down , less a strong compettiton , hahahahahah

My conclusion ...
2009 July ..... compared to the whole of 2008 .
The crowd is back .
Especially peak hours .

me quit sat nite few months liao.... but my ex sat hirer still keep my name with comfort.... maybe he misses me the solid relief.... haha.... lao gui got drive hard on sat nowadays?? hahaha y call u lao gui? u teach me wan mah.... all the super old bird cabbies are called lao gui wat... haha

yup, try to station yourselves near places like Marina Square, Suntec, Orchard, etc,
as celebrations end by 10:30pm, follow by concert for 2 hours, with many people singling, partying and dancing. Crowd should end around 1am.
Stationing near pubs will also be good....should be able to get at least $200 for 4 hours work.

Just now , ALN text me : " Raffles City Robinson many pax , no taxis ."
That was about 10pm ...
Last night same thing la ....
What i anticipate is right , those missing crowds is back little by little .
To get such excitement from ALN , can summed up the situation .
ALN when see many paxes , his saliva drip onto the floor mate until all wet , hahahahaha .
If he doesn't see many pax , he can be quiet the whole night , hhahahaha .

Just now took a lady pax chio bu ( m'sian ) to DragonFly @ St James , wtf , crowded sia St James ....
I smell blood on National Day Eve .

I think busiest place will be at Harbourfront ..... Sentosa , St James and Vivo City .
Orchard Area will be Orchard Tower .
Mohd Sultan area , only one Double O can ...
Clarke Quay of course .
Boat Quat defintely .
I doubt Duxton Road can be as busy as last few years , less Filipino gals liao .... was wipe out recently , like Joo Chiat and Geylang .
Still those Gay Pubs will be crowded .... Neil Road that is .
Outsider place will be at Party World @ Shenton Way ... think will be crowded too .

1.30am , usually BA & Qantas landed .

This week , since Monday , business were like bullish for us .
Before i quit , 10pm , town were like ghost town . Now it's like 11pm still got street waiting paxes .
Midnight Cineleisure can actually Q 3 minutes and fuck off with a pax today .
The Q kept moving ....
I am getting more positive with the outlook , except i need to work harder as usual , during peak hours .
I am so comfident , Friday night tonight , i am going for my very good shot of $3XX .
Cos last Friday i hit $3XX.... hope to click a notch up .

honestly speaking , today not too good , of the 3 Fridays , today midnight consider no good , although i did $260 , 3am i am off work .
Just dun have the kick to charge into party zone , not much power last night ...
Must be the Eve they all waiting for ....
Of the 3 Fridays , today is the night , i saw more vacant taxis than the last 2 fridays ...
These Eve must be a stunning one i swear ...
At 2am , at Braddel Road Caltex , already seen many taxis for car wash , those lao gui drivers all wash net liao ....

last Fri caught pool red wish 2 times.... last nite zero time.... must be pool idle last nite... $260 zoom to koon liao... haha when he finished at 3am.... me still another 4.5hr to go.... haha.... rich cabby tell pple must pee how many times, where got good food..... poor cabby just drive and drive.... is like that wan lah.... haha

Both Poolman and ALN are such committed and dedicated forummers. After slogging through nightshift, the first thing they do upon reaching home is to log into sgforum and post.
The first thing I do after staggering through the front door is to head straight for the bed..Hahaha!

den send taxi to workshop sigh...have to wait till tml then can repair

Teo , just one of those days ....It's part & parcel of a hirer job ....
Quite unfortunate it happen on an Eve .
Anyway , not really fantastic Eve ... i short $60 off my target , i was surprised , i need more analysis on my performance tonight ...
I told ALN , it's like a regular Saturday night , rather than an exceptional Eve .
Peak hour was slow ... although got regular pax , but i think i need more rapid sequence .
In CBD was even more bizarre ... u can see thousand of people walking , eating , shopping , just the last they do is to take a cab inside CBD .
Outside CBD , many were begging for a cab , but no cab heed them , bizarre ?
Then during midnight hours , hdb areas can be more busy than Clarke Quay and the rest ...

My turning point of the night was at 11pm , i need CNG refill , so " Changing Shift Woodlands " , Tekka Market i took an Indian foreign worker , " Sembawang Shipyard " ???
Ok .....
On the way , he Merlion on my cab ..... my worst ever Merlion inside my cab .
Straight he kena KNNBCCB from me , i threaten to bring him to Police Station !!!
He talk nicely to me , said he got problem this and that .. i charge him $30 for the trip .... $20 meter , $10 wash taxi , he lan lan ATM press and gave me .
Took 20 minutes wash up at Wland Loop Blk 26 JTC Industrial Estate .
Then at Wland Ave 9 , took a Mahjong Auntie to Old Havelock Road , 12am sharp , $28.50 .
Halfway at Braddell , my Toyota Wish started running on petrol .
Then at Old Havelock Road , cruise down Zion Road , pick another auntie to Boon Lay Place ... $20 .
