apparently e entrance is outside restricted zone while e exit is inside restricted zone
same goes for the car park (not too sure as yet)

In this case , customer still have to pay !
Eg , IBM Tower , drop-off point just outside Anson Road , cos it's a ONE-WAY yraffic , caaby must exit into CBD , and IBM sign board also indicated , by LTA , paxes to pay for ERP fare upon alighting at that point .
The only advantage is for paxes , if they can get a cab , they can save the $3 City Surcharge . And pay the ERP $1 instead . Only if they can get a cab .
So i summarised ! Fuck the LTA still ...
They earned that $1 from paxes , we earned less $3 .
So good luck to those paxes waiting for taxis during 8pm to 12pm ... unless got kum-lan drivers inside CBD thousand Q-ing for taxis dun pick , and yet they pick a $3less trip .
Those LTA assholes will act blur for sure ....
Then taxi companies & taxi driver complaint , than they erect a Sign board like those from IBM Tower .
Then customer complaint ....
Then they busy like fuck , then they keep their job , retrenchment KIV !!!
Nevermind guys , i will email LTA on this matter , i will suan siow they all jiat lat jiak lat , good for nothing fellas .
They just kena from me ..... i complaint king !!!
dis is ion's strategy.
they wan u to come.
they dunwan u to go.
no ! they want you to take the MRT instead !!!!
over my dead body loh.

FEEDBACK NUMBER: 20090622-0040
We refer to your email of 22-Jun-2009.
We wish to inform you that the entrance to the taxi stand at Ion Orchard is located along Orchard Boulevard while the exit is through Orchard Turn. Drivers would have options at the exit of Ion Orchard to either turn left and drive through the ERP gantry at Orchard Turn or turn right towards Orchard Boulevard again without incurring additional ERP charges, depending on their next fare trip or destination.
We thank you for your feedback.
Yours sincerely

stand lah.
canot izit.
Now I know wat's going on
They shifted the ERP gantry towards Wisma to the advantage of collecting the ERP toll.
who will turn left towards wisma atria when erp is in operation ha? so we'll get new traffic jam at orchard turn turning right towards orchard boulevard. as if the current jam at taka not bad enough. the whole orchard turn will become grid-locked. those turning right after exiting taka jia lat liao. hmmmz, more bookings from taka in future? but how to go in? this type of booking can see cannot eat. whoever planned the exit point for ion...i can only say...idiot.

somemore e design is crap
The taxi stand exit has a bus lane and B signal so that buses can remain to the right lane to make their right turn to Scotts Rd
However the car park exit and taxi stand entrance is just side to side of each other - receipe for a disaster
