Brief description:
- This stall is basically selling minced fish noodles by Tom, a very young boss. All ingredients are fresh and tasty. Food stock is ordered daily and sold out on daily basis. All ingredients are fish and no other meat is included in the noodles. Even the wanton is fish wanton. It's that healthy and tasty. Some customers like the tasty soup and will ask for a 2nd bowl.
Speciality:
- Fish noodle (made using fish meat). First glance, it has the bee-tai-mak look but it is different. The quality is VERY GOOD and the texture of the noodle is damn Q! Most customers like this noodle and is sold out everyday, mostly before lunch.
Price:
- Normal:- $2.50/bowl
- Fish Noodle:- $3.50/bowl

I helped you do the necessary editing liao..
try to type rather than highlighting, copying & pasting from the source to here..
oic .... anyway , plenty of nice food uncover .... one day when u are on the road , u'll know .
Those 5-Start ratings stores might not be the best ... a Grace C store somewhere in the dark corner of a hawker centre can be as good , if not better .

Noted QX179R.
Actually I typed all these myself then when I save reply, I think I got timed out or something then it did not post up. So I type in word document and save again. Thanks for assisting in clearing the codes. =)

ic
ic. this guide is maybe for taxi driving newbies like me so that I will
know where to eat and what good food to go for when I'm out there
earning my daily intake as in where to look for healthy & affordable pricing of food.
Nowadays, everywhere is expensive and I agree with what u say, 5-star ratings might not be the best yet costly!
night time got night time lobangs .... day time got day time lobangs .
Parking also one consideration .

Ok...just this afternoon went there to his stall, about 1pm most of the seats and tables taken,
Why? this small coffeeshop, cause...the one and the only stall selling noodle in this coffeeshop.
the mee kia for $2.50, with two fish ball, ok rear fish meat ball, the fish cake is not the same like other and of just few slices, and with a piece of fried wanton. Chilli sause combination good... but there is no black vinegar wasted one taste is not there sour. Noodle ok but not as mentioned damn Q...Why? short of one process never go through cold water. Noodle there are three grades nos 1 to 3 from the supplier. for his kind of noodle, i can confirm he is not buying nos 1 grade for sure.
Reasonable... the price for what they offer.

hi kin,
hmmm, the black vinegar if u want got to let the uncle or Tom know cos normally vinegar will not be added unless requested. As for noodle, only the Fish Noodle is damn Q, the rest of the noodles are normal noodles and tasty only. Sorry for the misunderstanding from my previous post.
OIC must we alway request him... than he will add it?
So please let him know, like me first time went there i already know the taste short of sour.
What about another new customer after tasting it like me.
For me i can just post here and let you know my comment, but what about those new customer, where will they go for their comments. quiet they left without coming.
that young boss of his age. he dare to try.
Taste is very important. by word of mouths.
Noodles there are many kind...if you are free you may try those at 628 ang mo kio temporary market. There are three stall selling wanton noodles, each and every stall using different kind of noodle. So what is tangy or what is Q you taste it than you know what i am talking about.

Wow bro kin,
Thanks for the advice and I feel that what u mention is really true. I will feedback to him and I know good customers will give valuable feedback and the rest of the customers like u mention, will just eat and go and never come back again.
Make a time when we are free then go to this 628 amk for food tasting, I believe I still got alot to learn from u on what is tangy and what is Q. Cheers! =)
Ok what is the secret of black vinegar...real black vinegar normally vendors will charge you a bowl of noodle $4 to $5.
Rear black vinegar is expensive like those from zhejiang.
Some vendors what they do...normal those artificial white vinegar in plastic bottle about an dollar, they mixed with black soy sause. wow pian that is black vinegar.
Have you tasted this kind by using those after used original zhejiang vinegar bottle and filled into it., that is your black vinegar.
Rear black vinegar... the mince pork mee vendor formally from Elgin bridge. they used the rear stuff. Now opposite textile centre. look at their Q.
see somthing say something. don't get fool by them... those vendors.
Originally posted by ALN:kin, what elgin bridge? where?
Elgin Bridge is known as thih tiau kio in Hokkien, meaning "iron suspension bridge".

Cos I often see alot of taxi drivers having their breakfast at 10am+ at this coffeeshop. Probably due to the fish cakes and fishton and fishball given which is reasonable for the price ba, so recommend lor. Anyway, it's healthy food ma, not oily type which isn't healthy.
It is not 24 hours but $2.50 price is quite normal now la.
Other food sites aren't meant for cabbies I'm not too sure, seldom surf those sites maybe u wanna list some so to share with all cabbies?
Cabbies should indulge in stg good once in a while...
