Have been monitoring my nets and credit cards (including e-vouchers and vouchers) takings.
As high as $100+ and most nights never fail to have at least on e-transaction.
Averaging +-$15 per night.
Ever queued behind non-Comfort taxis and paxs will by-pass them and board my cab because of e-payments. Likewise paxs will flag my taxi and not those non-Comfort in front of me.
There's a itch inside of me to switch to others but the above is holding me back.
What opinions do you drivers of non-Comfort cabs have on this e-payment issue.
And what other reasons for Comfort drivers to remain in Comfort.

It's like 100 customers , 95 pay cash , 5 pay cashless .
It's nothing .... must calculate in terms of yearly income , for both rentals , diesel or cng consumption , benefits etc ....
back in 2005 , my booking per month , i paid about as much as $150 for admindstration fee , for $0.70 per booking that time .
As in almost 214 bookings per month on bookings .
So i take in as 214 x $3.30 ( that time nett profit ) , so my booking generate my income to $706 per month , as in $8472 per year extra by taking bookings where other companies cannot give me .
Booking make me stay at Comfort .
The rest is not important .
i left because the booking system don't favour strong clever drivers , we were so strong which time , which area , which companies has got bookings ...
They re-programme the system into 3 bookings per day / driver .
eg .... from 5 to 10 pm , i got 6 calls already .... besides me , 4 taxis have got 3 each only , from 5 - 10pm , so the next booking that comes in , will not be me . Will be one of the 4 besides me .
Fuck type , i left .
And so ridiculous , like if i am in Tuas Road , with 6 calls already , Tuas Road has got booking , if nearby like Joo Kook Circle there is a Comfort which has only got 1 call that night , he will be the one to get the Tuas Road booking , not me . Ridiculous , how do i know ?
Hmm Hmm , i have alot of kaki in Tuas , we experiment all sorts of patterns .

yes , the more u reject , ur MDT less powerful . They give those who don't reject jobs .
Like i said , at the end of the road , this system dun work for Comfort , many left becos of the system .
I told them , they don't believe , then came the new fare structure , the bookings down hill all the way . Even more players left , or became relief , and stuck with load of Crown behind their backyard .
Now only Sonata save them .
Until one fine day , new fleet of Cheyrolet launched , and those Crown players who request a Sonata and never got it , here you go , they will sign up the Cheyrolet .
More Crowns on the backyard .
i told them if i inside CBD , dun give me jobs outside cbd , i 100% reject ....
Conclusion ?
Places like Gateway , Tekka , Far East , Shaw Centre , Orchard Tower , Liat Towers , got money booked a cab also no taxis .
Why ?
Outside CBD $3.50 , adminstration take $0.50 , gst bla bla ... nett about $2.90+ .
If i drive into CBD , taxi stand picked $3.00 nett profit , don't need a Rocket Scientist to figure out the difference .
I said this to them : " why should i feed you ? U think i charity ? "
Straight into CBD , i dun scared " No Show " , booking " No Show " , waste time and waste diesel .
Very true, what Poolman said. Call bookings are rationed to 3 - 4 per taxi. Only on high demand days you can get more. On low days you may get only 1 or worse none.
Reject calls and you can wait forever for the next one.
Their favourite, when in Suntec they will give you calls from Beach Road, sometimes even from Mustafa.

That said, why the others don't offer at least nets payment for their fleet. Transcab seems to be coming on bigtime, with the largest CNG station and with 2000 Wish rolling out. The e-payment thingy should be on their plans.
Or do Comfort have 'copyright' to it.

Advance ? If u ever cancelled any advance booking , or late for an advance , u are in fact , banned until dunno , unless that job no people take , u the only taker , then u will get the job , or else .....
me once got an advance from cck st 51 to Airport at 5.30am , because the pax late , haven't on board until 5.45am , i no-show , like tat from that time onwards , me no chance get advance booking from West side to Airport . Even i super fast , lightning speed , got a job , still got " over-ride " and the job "cancelled " .
Control kelong their " members " , could be the case .
Those NEW Year time give hampers members .
Talking about on-call... very hectic...take extra $3.50 during peak hour, non peak $2.50.
Last Saturday afternoon, Beach road toward Rochor road...ting on-call job offer ...Taxi Stand Bugis Juction. So near must take or not, this kind 50-50 chance.
So Uncle Alvin...What if you are at this situation, will you take?
Another kind of on-call job on main road, infront of certain hdb block or at but stop. How you guys think, worth taking or not.
