  drive taxi must be mentally prepared... some days bad, some days good.... if you know from experience b4 hand, then it helps you to be prepared.... some adjustments to driving pattern can help improve a bit.... like me last time also dunno after xmas eve to new year eve taxi biz bad.... curse and swear also no use.... haha now if biz good, drive more... if bad, me go back and rest more.... best strategy for part timers.... no stress.... full timers how to adjust? cannot adjust also must adjust.... biz demand you can't control wan....haha

  remember this tips ...

  All public holiday is bad for taxi one .

  Except Chinese New Year , and Hari Raya .

  Bad PH including Xmas , May Day , Gd Friday , Vesak Day .

  The worst among the worst is Deepavali Day .

  So u One Man Show ? I advise you ....

  Then on the Eve of the holiday , start a bit early , like 6am , stop at 11am .

  Then rest , a really good rest ..... until 4pm , charge all the way until 4am .

  Then i assure you , the public holiday can be also your holiday .

  Aiyo , u soon will know well .

  How i fare during all my public holiday eve ?

  From 4.30pm start , til 5am handover , i never did below $350 .

  Sometime $380 , $370 , only once $440 collections . Way back 2004 i think .

  As in half a shift , my wages is like $250 minimum per half shift .

  If i can , one man show lagi boleh la .

  Wu lau......... labour day landed on Friday again, super long wkend, siao liao lar, all went missing to go holiday, driving in the ghost Town. must find excuses to skip driving. lucky just a relief driver n no string attach, heng.....ar. thank U for Ur lobang.
