Another relief question

  Sorry, start a new one as the previous getting too long :)

   

  Just called Comfort to sign up as relief but was told that I need to find hirer first before I could sign up and both must go down together to register. Can someone advise if this is true? Isn't I just need to pay the $1K deposit and take my time to source for matching hirer? I'm confused !

  its true. they say that to me too. where do you stay? some areas have more hirers looking for a relief.

  you can ask them to print hirers looking for a relief in your area and call them to make arrangements. other taxi kiosks can also printout the list for you. after getting a hirer and signing up, then you can pay full or by 4 installments of $250 each.

  you can also call them to check for you. I called josephine 65508616. shes helpful.

  2.  I think by now you should know this is the standard practice, no need to ask and ask the same question again and again and make you so confused, if you want to signup with Comfort everyone like all in this community overhere as from Comfort all are doing the same. 1000 dollars you must deposit as to be their member and open and UOB personal account. Nothing is so difficult sourcing for hirers everybody over as Comfort or CityCab reliefs already 100% driving their Taxi. If you are not willing to pay 1000 dollars than... i think please don't try Comfort nothing much you can do. Why? the same old question again.   I know the $1k deposit is a MUST. My question is why can't I pay the deposit and register as a relief now and take my sweet time to find a hirer? Sometimes good and flexible hirers are hard to come by.

  OIC... sorry for my ignorant, you are telling that you are willing to pay $1000 deposit to ComfortDelgo into their account, than you start to look for a  best Hirer in their company and  than you join them to be their relief is that so?.

  But  ComfortDelgo criteria allow you that can take your own sweet time to find  without paying any deposit  until you can search the best hirer that you can match and you think it is the Best,  than you start to pay the deposit and start driving their Taxi.

  Your question putup is ready make confusion over here with this new thread. Look like your only question is the $1000 dollars giving you the only relief probelm. ya.

  find hirer then pay deposit save one extra trip... the only advantage is you cant access online search yourself daily... have to depend on comfort staff to search... but then comfort staff can search wider area than what you are allowed to see loh (if you dont mind hirer staying further) one reason i can think of why comfort now do allow you to put deposit first.... that's cos they view their online search sensitive... some other taxi companies cabbies go there to pull away comfor hirers.... which is also why they only allow you to view hirers near your own area....haha...

  wau guru kin, u indeed resourceful to find all the links.... me got enough hirers now liao... in fact got 3 hirers driving 4 nites a week... all sonata... the best car for cabbies so far

  It's the system ..... their dos system old type ... must filled up hirer info than can input relief info .
