  @fudge: I was saying the same thing to my collick, why they go burn the books? they could donate it to the less needy families... and assessment books, worksheets... all these could be re-farmed as notes for the next year P6 students as exam reference...

   

  That said, I am guilty of supporting that idea when I was in my teens... But back then I was young and naive...

  Back when we young we all dreamt about things like setting our homework on fire or flipping off the siao-on teacher. The difference between us and Arnold Gay's kids is that such things were confined to the realm of our imaginations, not least because we had proper parents who taught us that such behaviour is bad.

  If I ever set my worksheets on fire, I can be sure that I would kena hoot by my parents. Not just because all that burning paper would create smoke that would irritate the neighbours. It would also be because we grew up poor and all that paper could have been sold to the karang guni man for a few cents to buy food.

  If this Arnold Gay thinks that he is being a cool parent by allowing this sort of nonsense, then he is sorely mistaken.

  He need not need to encourage the whole sg to take part...

   

  As an entertainer (there should be a better word to use), people will look up to his action...

  Just like if Justin Beaver would start doing drugs, alot of his fangirls would likely see it as "Hip, cool" etc...

  Of coz the example which I quoted is abit extreme when compared to what the DJ did...

  Malaysia now mulling to build a 3rd Link... knn... The Woodlands side.. their side... Whole day renovation this and that, 50% of the counters are closed... End up terribly jam at night... The jam can backlog all the way to our side...

  Where's pinky bear? The alliance of Maersk, CMA CGM & MSC has decided their South East Asian hub... 13 Far East - Europe services will ply South East Asia... Making a total of 26 calls altogether for East and Westbound... Of which 14 will be using PSA... 10 at PTP and only 2 at Port Klang... no wonder why the govt is so keen on Tuas...
