iPhone queues start in Japan, more than 1 week before launch
I wonder if this was a planned self publicity stunt by Apple...
I remember the pager era.

Considering it's Japan, I don't rule out the possibility of some fanboys taking a whole week off work in order to indulge in their dorkgasms....
That said, I will point and laugh at them when they complain that they paid good money for what amounts to at most incremental upgrades for the 5S.
Hmmm, tat's true... It's Japan we're talking abt >__>
Forgot they are the masters of the famous internet saying "Asian Level"
well, remember the Qs at mcD over here a few months back? think the police are on standby
Haagen Dazs apologised in a post on their Facebook wall on Tuesday, not as a comment. Good on them but some clown had to butt in today and say that it's up to establishments to grant blind people the "privilege" of using their guide dogs inside.
If this was kosher and I ran an airline/restaurant, I'd ask people like her to leave their screaming kids outside.

Ah yes, that bugger who posted to TODAY.
Using his warped logic, walking canes and wheelchairs should be banned as well, seeing as how people can be hurt by them and that such 'privileges' should not be 'forced upon' others.
I find it very sucky that a fellow Singaporean can have that kind of mindset.

Hmmm, morally, I dun agree with that person about granting blind ppl the "privilege".
but, technically, it is really up to the establishment to decide. The act classify guide dog are not pets and MUIS also allow them to go into the halal eatares but did not specificaly mention that the estab must die die grant them entry. Of course, doing so will definately hurt the estab's reputation and it's quite a dumb thing to do...
An example would be a club turning down ppl who came in berms and slippers...
But the bottom line is that morally, I also dun agree on the person's comment...
Ahh okay, to add on, I just went to read the article fudgey talked about...
the 2nd paragraph is technically not wrong...
the only problem comes with his poor choice of word in the 3rd para, ie: "Privilege"... His arguement would have been more valid if he left out his last sentence...
In writing, most ppl would reserved the last sentence for something with impact. Unfortunately, impact there is, but it's negative impact
looking forward to the long weekend
maybe i should re-read that article
any stress today char char?
That is a really selfish and stupid comment
Then again I realise there are a lot of stupid people around.
