Already lost 0.7 kilos.
Good period to lose weight eh...?
Usually what happens is that my initial weight loss will be great at the beginning of the month, but will become more gradual as my body burns all the glycogen and switches to fat burning.
I remember ten years ago back when I was in the Army during the fasting month. I lost 3kg in the first three days..... and another 3 kg in the next 27 days.
I don't expect such a drastic weight loss this time round. But that said, I believe a 4-5 kg loss is a possible outcome.

hopefully you'll regain these throughout the year...think you're underweight?
@Fudge: maybe you should slightly moderate your exercise? Are you still running during the fasting period?
@Cassie: Well, I think most runner looks slightly underweight? Fudge looks fine to me though...

yeah i think so too...most runners are on the slim side
and i'm using the excuse of double workouts in the last 2 days to eat like no tomorrow today!

Well, it is a general rule of that most atheletes have less then normal amount of fat contents too...
slim is one thing, looking healthy is another... U can be slim or bigger size but not neccessary healthy or unhealthy...
I don't really run during the fasting month.
I would work the whole day, rush back home to break my fast, and then spend the next 2.5 hours in the mosque. And believe me, those nightly prayers can be quite a bit of a workout.
On weekends, I go for short jogs after 6 pm. I don't push myself, and I stop when I'm overheated.
Hopefully won't lose too much of my current fitness. Luckily AHM this year is three weeks after Hari Raya - that is three weeks for me to rebuild my fitness. In previous years AHM was the first weekend right after Hari Raya.
