i always thought HR had the worst possible job (i mean you're sandwiched between the employer and employee who both have opposing agenda)

Talking abt sandwiched offiers, the worst would be those working in other sites.U gotta serve the interest of your site supervisor, and ur HQ supervisor, and most of the time their interest will conflict with one another.

i give up with my junior/colleague. i ended up doing everything i asked him to do 2 weeks ago; so new instruction was just to follow up, pdf materials, print, email etc - and he can still make a mess outta things. and he's not a fresh grad nor new to the firm
