Scanning the headlines (CNA, Today, ST), I am struck at how none of them referred to the actions of the SMRT bus drivers yesterday as a 'strike'.
Basket. Just call a spade a spade lah. If a group of workers decide not to work in protest, then it's a strike, simple as that.

It usually starts Thursday evening over there, i.e. Friday office horus over here.
