  I have already had some experience with a little high-altitude air and its clear that I would need prior training before I attempt that.

  K2 which is shorter than Everst actually got more people killed than Everst itself - just to let you know. Well I'm personally not fond of climbing it, but sort of enjoying the view instead. You all know when it means.
