A small war took place last week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between Brazilian forces and hundreds of drug traffickers holed up in the shantytown complex dubbed Complexo do Alemão. After recent efforts by officials to pacify Rio's drug and gang-related violence ahead of the upcoming the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics Games, drug gangs struck out last week - attacking police stations and staging mass robberies. After days of preparation, Brazilian security forces launched a raid in the Complexo do Alemão, where between 500 and 600 drug traffickers were holed up. At least 42 people were killed in the violence last week, with security forces taking control of many neighborhoods. A relatively low number of arrests were made, and authorities warn of further conflict as continue to flush out more suspects in Rio's maze of favelas

I find it amusing that most Chinese in Singapore just stereotype Indians as wife beaters and if you marry one, 100% your husband will beat you up
That is the concern I got from my relatives when they got to know I wanted to marry MPB.
I told them that Chinese men are well-known for gambling away the entire fortune and going to la sup KTV and cheating on their wife.
So are they telling me that I shouldn’t get married at all? :lol:

It's not true of every city, especially those that see more tourists. There are places where you can walk around alone after dark safely.

There are lots of schooling fishes in the pet tradeNo need. They can live alone too

Best thing is it looks like a tarpon except that the colouration is much better

I have went and tested Texas Chicken @ Tampines Mall ytd... Free 1 pc chicken with every combo ordered... till 7 Dec...
Overall, becoz they have a long queue, food turnover is high so the food is hot and fresh... However, tastewise, KFC is better...
The coleslaw has this wierd taste in it which I cant point to... Taste like apple cider vinegar in them >___>
Mash was pretty normal, popeye taste better IMO...
Chicken (Original) hard to differeniate from normal (spicy/crispy) version as both looked the same but without spice... KFC de Original confirm better...
Chicken (Spicy)... It's hot and fresh... but somehow I think KFC is better also...
Overal Verdict: KFC is better... and cheaper too >___> (dang I sound like a certain someone...)

popeyes' suffers from quality control problems too .....
the other night I went to the airport with fatumnette for my popeye's fix ..... the queue is now longer than ever now that terminal one's popeye's gone ......
the chicken turned out way too salty ..... even for my taste .....

The batter is too thick and it is always too salty for me
