In that case. There is 3 parts to Mustafa Centre.One part, facing the main road, not linked by bridge one. It closes around 11+ pm.

much as i hate to say it but i agree with you totally. you can say the kid is ignorant but his old man? he's playing the reglious line of tolerance. he should not be let off so lightly with just an apology.

apparently, this chap was sentenced to only 5 days of detention for refusing to comply with orders ..... during which he ate cut fruit inside ..... no sign of the hunger strike anywhere. Truth was of course twisted online by those fellow's supporters ....
and apparently, what he does is not orthodox .... some hindu religious body came out and say that no, this temple doesn't not come under them, although it is a registered society. and hindu priests CAN eat outside food, as long as it's vegetarian, and hindu priests HAS to be trained in India, not like this fellow who was "trained in Singapore" ....
and the temple belongs to the hare krishna movement, if you remember the hippie times ...

some people fell for it because they are just retarded .... chaps like nikar falls into this category .... at first I felt sorry for the chap ... but he's just a worm, really ....
others fell for it because they just hated NS, or the goverment ... and so would support anything that is a smear against either institution, the truth doesn't matter to those fellows

the mods did .... they moved it from speaker's corner into chit chat ...
I think they've handled it pretty ok .... by treating this as a straight forward case of malingering and refusal to comply with lawful orders, which's what it is ....
but yes, they should really make an example of this chap and squeeze his balls hard .... and his old man and their bunch of supporters too .... so that others would think twice before stirring this kind of dangerous shit ....
this is not the goverment's style though .... they'll just move in quietly ... investigate this group, find some accounting or compliance irregularities or such triffles, delist the group, brand a few PRs as undesirable immigrants and toss them out quietly ....
