its friday, I have a workshop on monday, and the software we are supposed to be using can't work on the %^&*$#@ computer lab PCs!!!!
but it works fine on our personal laptops! WTF omfgbbq

useability of a system has an inverse relationship with the system's security ....
it's one of the truisms hammered into us in school ...

they want it so secure i can't even use it for anything other than email and word processing..even that has a limit.. no macros..
excel is also limited that way...
access barely works coz of dunno what..
however, powerpoint works like gangbusters
we work in an environment where we are tasked to get vendors to produce "high quality videos" which they do and give it to us on DVDs and we can't play it on our PCs because they lock the DVD player function...

macros attacks are so simple you can easily google a toolkit for them online ... that's unfortunate .... it can all be blamed for microsoft of course ...
but hey, I know how it is... had to wrestle with SAF comp security before too ...
