  looking at the photos of the security measures taken for the beijing olympics, I can't help but be reminded of fortress singapore during the IMF meeting

  Morning everyone.
  
  Wanted to sleep in but thanks to the drilling from upstairs (2 weeks and going strong..... gah!) I ended up waking up early as can be.

  Onion soup for av and kopi? What about lettuce?

  oh.. my brain has imploded.. got droned on by the boss for 1 1/2 hours straight...

  anyway, zimbabwe just printed a Z$100,000,000,000 note.. that's 100 billion..

  it was officially worth US$1 on saturday...

  dunno if it's worth the paper it's printed on today, seeing their official inflation rate is 2,000,000%
