Mae Sa Long is famous for lots of Sakura trees.
Those were grown from saplings the late Princess Mother acquired while on visit to Japan. She then distributed those sakura tree saplings among the people at Mae Sa Long and thus create a scenic plus tea growing culture there.

And ermmm....i just realised that I never took pics of the BBQ Pork with layers of fats and the BBQ 'Feng Chang' Powdery Rectums & the BBQ Liver they sold and we ate at the roadside stalls at Golden Triangle.
I finally took on a beer to go with the BBQ food. They were ultra delicious.
I suspect they soak the rectum & the liver in sugar water before they BBQ them.
The rectum was heavenly and the liver dont taste bitter at all. It really was one big chucnk of liver bigger then the size of my two hands which is BBQ till is toally black and the insides greyish hard.
The pork triple layer of meat was so melt in your mouth, that my father ordered extra plate of it. -
