i think they should push heavy vehicles back to the 3rd/4th lane.
the 1st lane as an overtaking lane is a total joke.
and singaporeans are such stupid drivers, even on the NSH they don't even know what the right signal means when i come up behind them -

Ok my encounter in vancouver this time....99.99% of the bad drivers come out from asian woman. The 0.01% is taken out to make the reader here more comfortable. Either they r blind, or they dun know how to drive. Cos I encounter cases here that i nearly get run over by a car when she just stop before the stop sign and step on the accelerator just as I pass infront of her car. It was so damn near that she nearly knock me down. LOL I give way too. I take taxi frequently and the stress level and stress triggers of the taxi drivers just seem so needless and petty! How to tahan so many hours of being angry??
Which is why basically I aim for a stress-free drive, with minimal anger and fuss, so I'll give way and I'll let people cut if they're faster than me.

that said ... I survived the traffic of vancouver, calgary and edmonton .... driving there is often like playing daytona on an expressway ..... my last overnight trip to edmonton I witnessed 5 accidents on the roads .... -

oh yes I've tried..... basically my vendors had a culture shock ..... As for road hoggers on lane 1, my experience is 50-50 auntie or uncle driver.
Gender has pretty even odds, but almost always is THAT (i.e. 50-60) age group -
