like there is this boy in my class who is always pleasant, always smiling and he tries so hard to do everything that is tasked to him INDEPENDENTLY serious about his work. and if you ask him to reflect on his behaviour, if he hadn't done as well as he know he should, he will shake his head so sadly when its time for me to give out stars. And he's only 8....
How not to have soft spot for someone like this?
But sometimes its surprising who the teacher would end up having a soft spot for. Last year it was my hokkien speaking big boy and tt little stubbon girl with a GUFFAW laughter. They're the ones who gimme the most headaches la.. but.. hahah.. Oh.. i mish them!
But I find it hard to accept teachers who fuss over kids SIMPLY cos they are cute. It isn't fair to our kids when they grow up and realise - damn, not cute anymore. worse, it sends the message that physical cuteness is what matters.
(haha i was just thinking through my class.. and realise.. i do have a soft spot for little stubborn girls... hahaha.. must be cos they remind me of myself...) -
if i had to teach little children, i'd probably be driven insane within an hour

i'm pretty much pain-free now.. just a bit sore which is pretty much okay for me as i'm used to being in extreme pain and have a ridiculous threshold for pain...

it helps with pain like yours, not mine
unless it's end of the day and i carry alot of files and walk alot... hmm... tat's like almost everyday
