and people wonder why they pay 40% taxes ? ...

The thing is that people say that because we are Singaporeans we don't understand how effective strikes are and that it is a perfect solution to solve it.
The thing is, true it may solve the issue short term but the domino effect is far greater and affects people who are indirectly involved
You know I sweat EVERY end of the year because it means I will need to solve 1001 screw ups due to avalanches and strikes -
the chap told me the union was pushing the govt for a 25% payrise actually .. but let it go at 22.5% .....
I mean, it's farking ridiculous .... he does no overtime, and every other week he gets friday off as a mandated long weekend ... plus 28 day's leave every year ....
no wonder everyone fights to work for the goverment .... once in it's almost impossible to get fired, even if you turn out to be an imbecile ....
that's where my tax dollar here has been going to ... -
