hmm.. recently accompanied a friend to see her fortune teller...
when the "old man" was talking to her, i gave him "look up look down", the mind game look...
he strug and decide to tell me my "destiny and love life". I asked him loads of questions until his face red red, gave up and shoo-ed me away.... -

Like the horoscopes, it's fun to know these things but I don't believe 100% in them. If pre-destination were true, then wouldn't whatever we do be futile? Might as well not do anything already.....?
I'd rather believe that destiny lies in our own hands, that hard work and effort can change things. This is also the belief of Buddhists........... -

In life, there will be at time where we feel helpless, lost and hurt. If fortune telling can provide a temporally explanation or solution to heal your wound and make u feel comfortable at the moment. Weather to believe it or not isnÂ’t that important.
But donÂ’t get yourself too addicted in fortune telling though , Take a good rest and then move on when u have recover.

U mean whether i believe in pre-destined love life? I believe 70% u r in control of ur destiny and that 70% is more than enough to change the whole situation.So i think if u want to improve ur love life, u should try to change yourself first.

I have a different take on all this - if you let these predictions affect your thoughts, or even take hold of your mind, your actions will be affected and the result might become close to the prediction.
Thus I tend to stay away from them - even 'fun' horoscopes. -

Jokes aside, if you believe in such things, and that ur life is "destined" with meaningless flings, why not accept and roll with it ? Rather than torture yourself with even more meaningless struggles ?
And if you dont believe in it, then learn that your life is your choice. And that every decision made lies solely in your responsibility.

Just don't dwell too much into such stuff, otherwise it might become a self-fufilling prophecy.
Eg. the fortune teller say your efforts won't be appreciated by those you love -> you believe him and feel sian, then decided to stop caring for them -> they stop liking you as well.
In short, just do what you believe in and have no regrets thereafter. -
