Company e-mails is such a wonderful thing don't u agree? what will we do without them?
[*] we send e-mails to eachother eventhough they are sitting opposite/behind eachother.
[*] when the boss scold u via e-mail, he isn't content with scolding u alone, he will confirm humiliate u by cc the e-mail to everyone in the office thus everyone will know about your incompetence.
[*] we call up the customers via phone telling them we have send them an e-mail.
[*] when sending e-mails, everyone like to cc to a lot of people regardless of whether they are of any concern to the e-mail sent. most of them will simply delete them when they receive it. -

does your company have this practice that your immediate colleague/manager must know ur email password?
my manager asked for my password and said among my team, they know each other's password. I din dare to say no la.. so i gave. but they never give me their passwords wor.

lunch emails still send la.. doesnt matter de..

i cc people to cover my own backside....at least i keep them in the loop and they cannot deny responsibilities after that.. -

i don't think is appropriate to give.
change yr password lah. Even log-in password for computers also confidencial.
Because my computer got Credit card details and a lot of customer details, so even if i go toilet also must lock the computer -

if yr mailbox those 'shared' one?
i got like 3 mailbox...one is everybody including vendors can access, one is our own company can access and one is my own 1..
u change yr password, then see whether anybody notice a not..
if A ask you, why u change, say u more convenient using something that is familiar to you...
then u shoot the person back ask why u need to use huh?..say u check for the person loh -

i dun think it's a common practise to share passwords..
unless is those shared mailbox or unless u on leave/mc want your colleague to help u to check some things but usually people change their password after that...
just be careful loh -
On the safe side.. just use company email strictly for work. Don't send personal emails if possible. Emailing colleagues about lunch etc is fine..

actually, lunch all that can use SMS. not necessary must use e-mail.
