I'd like to share an experience i had recently.. just came out from the monastery, and i was sitting at the busstop waiting to go home. I heard footsteps on my right, then when i turned my head I am very sure i distinctly saw a nun dressed in grey colour, but after 1 sec it went away and I saw a 50 year old+ auntie.
I was told im not supposed to concentrate on such 'weird' sightings, but im really just curious. Am i hallucinating? `
This isnt the first time i've seen 'things' that other ppl usually dun encounter
u think u are seeing ghosts?
If you practised correctly, these are not hallucination, it is very likely your dharma protectors 护法神, sort of from the ghost realms and attributing to your proper cultivation in the monastery.
I'm very sure i saw the image, and its a young nun, i think was holding an alms bowl also. But im puzzled coz after 1-2 secs it disappeared and i saw a real 50+ year old singapore auntie.
Dun think it was a ghost.. was during mid-afternoon.. i dun really cultivate much in the monastery, jus walk around, donate $1-$2 sumtimes and chant abit.
Maybe my mind was playin tricks on me.. coz i didnt haf enough slp tat day..
I've never seen the image (her appearance) of this nun before tho, lol.
mebbe not enough food...happens...
Yea.. but ive never seen this nun before, nor was i imagining her in my mind... lol. I saw all 5 facial features
btw mid-afternoon or anytime also got ghosts. think some people no need to cultivate in this life. but their previous life did, which the ability is brought forward. but may or may not be permanent.
Or it could be due to the effect of a smart material nearby
some of these materials are able to capture and hold images or light briefly

i've also seen things disappear and then reappear again after a few seconds.............
