If buddhists respected Jesus more than Buddha, then they would have become Christians in the first place already.
Maybe you're not very smart at all, that's why you don't see anything wrong with it.
Or maybe you just think that being buddhists, they are allowed to disrespect the GOD of another religion
Perhaps you're just an insensitive piece of shit who think that because Buddha isn't a GOD, buddhists are allowed to do whatever shit they want and get away with it.
Why the Christians and Muslims don't post on how they think of Buddha?
But if you asked me, I will tell you what I think of Buddha in the same way that buddhists think of Jesus.
Sounds fair enough for you?

Yes loser, just walk away and blame your own uselessness and continue to console yourself that the wall is at fault when you're the one who tried to punch the wall and failed.

i agree, she is only a troublemaker
i think you would get a more intellectual discussions here about jesus than their own forum which gone down to the dirt by the likes of parn
The Bible is already edited so many times due to political issue
the first original bible which have the verse on retribution was strike off in the Council of Cicea ,so its a fallacy people still believe this book accurately record the sayings of Jesus Christ
Jesus Story have been manipulated by the English ,France, Italy ,Russia and
can somebody answer me why the Psalm of Paul , Matthew ,Luke differs in the way they describe Jesus .Perhaps one should read Judas Psalms which is more clear-headed than the others

Hello, you christian is the one who started this topic "What do Buddhists think of Jesus." Well, apparently TS is a real christian. Whereas for you, you have a lot to learn from TS on how to become a christian.

Agree with you.

Buddhist or any others with professed faith see other religion as how the adherents behave in front of them. If you feel christianity or your god has been maligned or misrepresented in any way, feel free to engage constructively, Buddhists and other faiths also reserve this right. Muslims, I do not know therefore reserve my comments, but christians rantings about buddism are aplenty. Allusions sweeping accusations to worshipping false idols and association to the devil is standard issue beliefs. One fundamenta belief is all non christians are sinners, that is frequently manifested as inherent superiority over non believers,or in one word, hereitcs. Many christians are laden with a guilt complex that lingers even when one leaves the religion, especially so. A lot of ex christians feel betrayed, and angry and confused by the beliefs and community they left behind. Until they have learnt to make peace, they continue to react strongly to to any holier than thou representations. This rebuttal is made with these people in mind.

Reminds me of a short story...
My brother is a Catholic but I'm a Buddhist. My brother has a cabinet for Mother Mary. There was once I did not seek my brother's approval but placed a xmas card in his cabinet.
The moment I opened the cabinet, I felt a great sense of peace. I told my brother about it and he told me the items were blessed.
Just to let you know that, we buddhists have different views but that doesn't mean we don't respect other religions
My bro and I is one good example
lol

So you mean christians must go around insulting other religions in order to be a true christian?
Oh my GOD, you're retarded for whichever religion you represent.
I don't believe any religion would requires their believers to go around insulting other religions.
And True christians don't go around insulting other religions. If you cannot agree with me, then there's just something wrong with you, and not with me.

What should you do when you see people attacking religions, be it your religion or other people's religions, it's only normal for anyone to step in, object and try to put a stop to it.
Standing on the sidelines and watching the events unfold just because your religion isn't involved in the attacks, doesn't means you are clean.
You're still guilty of indirectly supporting such appalling behaviour if you do not object or do something about it...especially when you are one of the participants in this topic.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are better christians out there whom you have not yet to meet, and each religions will have their fair share of followers who are extremely zealous of their own religion to the extent of insulting other religions.
We should know better than to give our support or stand on the sidelines and tell yourself "This isn't my problem".
Do you really think you will achieve enlightenment or even go to Heaven if you had allowed such misconduct to unfold and do nothing about it?
not sure if its written in the bible that jesus insult other religions
but his followers do
can anyone tell us why?
Religion is a sensitive issue....better to leave it to its own device...amen...:P

i have to agree with you.
better not waste time talking to her.
if people like her can go to heaven i would rather not be there.

When I have issues with certain aspects of Buddhism, I question it all the same. Although that being the case, perceptible practictoners of Buddhism are multifaceted. I question them when an useful opportunity rises.
When there an appropriate moment to discuss religion, we discuss, as long as we can keep a level view. This requires emotional maturity, are you ready?
In an issue with an emotive element, it is best to take rational approach, dealing with facts at hand. Point to point verification is the best. And try not to score points for emotional gratification and respect your fellow posters.
However, the vocal ones or least visible ones, are usually defensive in nature. Current situation is no exception. The nice ones(christians) do have an easy demeanor, don't go aggressive, aren't very vocal most of the time, just being comfortable with who they are.
I do not intent anything, just comfortable and content with now. I am not going anywhere.
There are subtle reminders to some who can take a hint, obviously, you are too hot and bothered to notice it. What you have done is make accusations, whether real or imagined and hitting out with anger. Why do you feel threatened?
Raise up any falsehoods if you found any, it is good if the truth is made known to all.

Who do Buddhist think Jesus is?
A good man? A buddha? One of many gods out there in the world?
Not sure whether this is the right forum to post, but will appreciate a devoted Buddhist's answer.

Ha! Ha! There are Buddhist and there are buddhist, then there are also "buddhist", what's in a name, and what does that connote....
Also "free thinker" has at least two components "free" and "think/er", how should conform? When is free thinking really free?
