Three kind of non retrogress

  Moreover, Shariputra, the living beings born in the Land of Utmost Happiness are all avaivartika. Among them are many who in this very life will dwell in Buddhahood. Their number is extremely many; it is incalculable. And only in measureless, limitless asamkyeyas of kalpas could they be counted. -- Amitabha Sutra

  往生到西方極樂世界，雖沒有�佛，等於�佛了，他真的等於�佛，這阿彌陀佛自己說的，四�八願裡講的，生到極樂世界「皆作阿惟越致�薩�，《無�壽經》是這麼講的，《彌陀經》也是這麼講的，《觀經》也是這麼講的，這�話三經都有。阿惟越致是什麼�薩？阿惟越致是梵語，翻�中國����退轉。三種�退轉，第一個是��退，第二個是行�退，第三個是念�退，這還得了嗎？在一般講，三�退的�薩什麼人證得？這是我們從廣義上說，明心見性�證得，也就是說大徹大悟�明心見性，�惠能大師那個境界他能證得，在《�嚴經》上圓教��，超越�法界了。�法界裡頭決定��能的，�法界裡�阿羅漢是��退，其他的那個行�退�念�退沒�到，�有一個��退。�是法身�薩�真正具足這三種�退，法身�薩。嚴格的來說，圓教七地以上�真的�退，這還得了嗎？往生，經上沒說，沒有講：�居土下下�例外，�在這裡，他沒有說這個話；他沒有說這個話，��就是說��生到極樂世界，凡��居土下下�也是阿惟越致�薩。難信之法，這誰能相信？- MCK

  3. non turning back of mindfulness.

  This is referring to self-power who had attained this level. Their complete recovery is still extremely long way ahead. For earnest mindfulness of Buddha Amitabha and Amitabha land of ultimate bliss, living beings is naturally dwell in the state of avaivartikan, cos attainment of Bodhi is this one lifespan. The above may be waiting for you to liberate them :D
