Lecture #2 (in English): Healing our Minds: Buddhism and Stress
Do we understand the Four Noble Truths as the Buddha taught them? Should we understand “dukkha” as suffering or as stress or as dissatisfaction? This lecture will attempt to update familiar Buddhist terminology for the 21st century, making use of the vocabulary of psychology and the insights of meditation. The goal is to empower meditators to heal the mind using a fresh perspective on ancient methods.

Lecture # 3 (in English & Mandarin): The Path of Awakening 觉醒之路
Follow the Buddha by becoming a good person. When our humanity is perfected, Buddhahood accomplishes itself. To learn from the Buddha, first become a good person. When humanhood reaches perfection, Buddhahood accomplishes itself. The Lecture will focus on insights of the Mahayana Buddhist practice, particularly the principles of filiality and fraternity, (å�与悌) to inspire individuals to make the Resolve for Bodhi (bodhicitta).
