  There's no victim here. He died because his past life karma. The guys who killed him are just the agents of justice doing their job.

I said future research might show something, just like many years back, research says eating eggs is bad for health due to high cholesterol, and then recently they discovered actually it's mainly good cholesterol, so science is never certain. Same as last time nuclear meltdown news everywhere, the whole world condemn nuclear energy and recently our singapore top elites say we should consider nuclear energy in singapore... One day science says this, one day science says that. What I meant was, you can never be too certain. The moment you are certain, you can't think out of the box. Just like last time people laughed at the wright brothers when they said people are gonna fly one day, without the wright brothers, we probably won't even think about budget airlines. I mean people are right to laugh at them, afterall, back in those days, there are no planes! Similarly, now we know heroine is not good, but what's stopping one day science from realising there are certain chemicals or compounds within it that helps people?   Yes, is never certain for the blessing and wisdom of living beings according to sutra as well. However, it does provides certain level of comfort for some living beings and facilitates dharma interaction for the well beings of sentience :)

  Although its good to ensure this kinda incident doesnt happen again, i think we should know that a person, no matter what bad or good things he/she does, is still a person born from mother's womb.
