for purelanders, it's very inspiring to read. Patriarch Yin Guang had praised that even Buddha were to come and comment on this Sutra, it wouldn't exceed that of Patriarch Ou-i. so if Yin Guang is Mahasthamaprapta, then if Ou-i is not Amitabha, He must be Avalokitesvara at least. As it's so profound that even a ç‰è¦º (the fifty-first stage of a bodhisattva's practice) might have difficulty understand how Nien-fo/Pureland method can work so well in attaining Full Enlightenment in such a realistic way.
we can see for REAL how many many many people are liberated as compare to other methods. can't even use One Buddha Vehicle to compare. for One Buddha Vehicle, we have Avatamsaka, Lotus and Brahma Net. In Pureland, the 3 most important vow of Amitabha are 18, 19 and 20.
- Vow 18
Provided I become a Buddha, if the beings of the ten quarters who after having heard my name, and thus awakened their highest faith and aspiration of re-birth in that country of mine, even they have recollected such a thought for ten times only, they are destinated to be born there, with the exception of those who have committed the five deadly sins (Anantarya), and who have blasphemed the orthodox Law (Dharma), otherwise may I not attain the enlightenment.
- Vow 19
Provided I become a Buddha, if the beings of ten quarters who have directed their thoughts towards the Bodhi and cultivated their stock of various merits with a fervent craving for re-birth in that country of mine, if at the moment of death, should I not appear with an assembly of retinue before them, then may I not attain the enlightenment.
- Vow 20
Provided I become a Buddha, if the beings of ten quarters, after having heard my name always longing for that country of mine and cultivating various essential merits for the purpose of realizing their earnest wish to be born in my country, should their fulfillment be failed, then may I not attain the enlightenment.
if compare hinayana and Mahayana, hinayana is unreal/expedient, while Mahayana is real. if compare Mahayana and One Vehicle, mahayana is unreal, while One vehicle is real. if compare One vehicle to vow 19, vow 19 is real, while One vehicle is still unreal. if compare vow 19 to vow 20, vow 20 is realistic, vow 19 is still unreal. if compare vow 20 to vow 18, vow 18 is REAL, vow 20 is still unreal/expedient.

when all sutras were to disappear, Infinity Sutra will remain for another 100 years, then Amitabha for another 100 years, then the six syllables Namo Amitabha/Amituofo for another 100 years, then the four syllables Amitabha/Amituofo for another 100 years helping countless beings!

The positioning of the "trinity" can also tell how a particular school go about practicing it's method.
Buddha Vaircana is at the center, Manjushri on the right hand side (from where we are facing), while Samantabhadra is on the left hand side. it's known that right hand side come first and are more emphasize. Manjushri represent Understanding while Samantabhadra represent Practice. So this method tell you to understand first then practice.
however for Pureland school, Amitabha Buddha at the center, Avalokitesvara is on the right, Mah�sth�mapr�pta on the left. Avalokitesvara represent Practice and Mah�sth�mapr�pta represent Understanding. So Pureland method is practice first then understand later.

Buddha Vaircana is at the center representing Faith of yourself is none other than Buddha Vaircana or the supreme compassion and serenity of Amitabha Pureland (but you had already lost yourself neither from the beginning nor ending due to defilement), Samantabhadra is emphasizes your vow or compassion, and Manjushri is wisdom or practice.
According to flower ornamental sutra, this world is known as Flower Store world. Basically, all achievement in practice will land you into this world, and both Samantabhadra and Manjushri will then persuade you to birth into Amitabha Pureland to attain Buddha Vaircana. As without attaining the status of Buddha Vaircana, you will not be able to liberate those bodhisavattas the level similar to Samantabhadra and Manjushri.
