净空说：“佛家讲的五戒跟儒家讲的五常æ„�æ€�é�žå¸¸æŽ¥è¿‘，五常是ä»�ã€�义ã€�礼ã€�智ã€�信，ä¸�æ�€ç”Ÿæ˜¯ä»�，ä¸�å�·ç›—是义，ä¸�邪淫是礼，ä¸�妄语是信，ä¸�饮酒是智。”

Q38:    “知难行易”还是“知易行难”？

A38:    如果看佛陀的过去生跟看阿罗汉的现在是这样的状况，是“知”比较难，“è¡Œ”比较易。佛陀è¦�得到这个法，他是è¦�用三大阿僧祇劫æ‰�得到这个法，所以è¦�得到这个法比较难。但是一å�¬ä½›é™€çš„开演以å�Žï¼Œé˜¿ç½—汉三世就å�¯ä»¥è¯�得阿罗汉，那ä¸�是行比较易å�—？

在社会上的��里�，你看你如果没有�过的，知都�知的，你�一个东西��就没办法。但是你知�，你祇�去学，去�摩，去练习，你都会�就，所以行是比较容易的。

这是在讲什么呢？在讲亲近善知识，å�¬é—»æ­£æ³•ï¼Œè¿™ä¸ªå¾ˆé‡�è¦�。亲近善知识，å�¬é—»åˆ°æ­£æ³•ä»¥å�Žï¼Œå›žåŽ»ä½ å�ªè¦�内正æ€�惟，法次法å�‘，那就比较容易了。所以这一点是，我们è¦�亲近善知识，å�¬é—»æ­£æ³•ï¼Œè¿™ä¸ªæž�为é‡�è¦�。这个是一个很é‡�è¦�关键，也就是如果没有佛陀æ�¥åˆ°è¿™ä¸ªä¸–间跟我们讲法，你看众生轮回n年了，n等于无é™�多，已ç»�太久了，å�—了ä¸�少苦了。但是，åƒ�我们现在这样，已ç»�å�¬é—»æ³•äº†ï¼Œæˆ‘们心å�‘ä½›é�“，“总有一天让我等到你”。

many ppl will think that 知易行难, understanding is easier than practice. MCK use to be asked by his teacher/Grand Master.  the grand master said it's 知难行易 knowing is more difficult than practice. those who think that practice is difficult is because they had not thoroughly understool the teaching yet. if they really understool thoroughly, practice is easy as 123. He use a simile. if there's gold and brass on the table, which one will we want to take? we will all want to take the gold. as we KNOW that gold is more expensive than brass. hence the Taking is practice is easy as u Know.   the problem now is we do not know that gold is more expensive than brass. we still do what our bad self ask us to do.

知难行易 Ah!

ps: when an arahat saw his previous lifes in hell realm. he got so scare he start sweating blood! It also help stopping them commit any more karma.

六祖大師法寶壇經:

何期自性本自清淨。True Nature is Originally Pure.

何期自性本�生滅。True Nature is Originally neither arising nor ceasing.

何期自性本自具足。True Nature is Originally Inclusive

何期自性本無動�。True Nature is Originally Still.

何期自性能生�法。True Nature is able to Produce all dharma.

hence MCK said, Hui Neng's Sudden Enlightenment made his understanding Equal to any Buddha.

�佛的法� 开智的楞严 往生的弥陀 玻执的金刚 入界的�严 解空的般若

if we look at 往生的弥陀 and 入界的�严, it's a very good insight for purelanders.

弥陀 is related to Amitabha Sutra, Infinity Life Sutra, Visualisation of Infinity Life Sutra. å�Žä¸¥ is Avatamsaka. All Buddhas and Mahasattvas(11th onward) no matter what they practice will all return to Avatamsaka, sort of the Mind ground. IT's also the Pureland of Buddha Vaircana(Dharmakaya Buddha). it's for those who practice Self Power.

those practice pureland and reborn in Amitabha Pureland is also 'born' in Avatamsaka. old MCK use an example if Avatamsaka is Singapore, then Amitabha Pureland is like Orchard Road, which is the most active and vibrant. if one is in Singapore, one might not be in Orchard road. In Avatamsaka Sutra, even Manjushri in Avatamsaka like to bring his fellow students(Mahasattvas) to visit Sukhavati/Amitabha Pureland, as it's most concentrated in Dharma practice, hence accomplishment is a lot faster. Avatamsaka's Samantabhadra's Ten Vow are also returning to Sukhavati/Dewachen.

There are many method, yet there is no 2 path returning to the source. 八万四�,法门虽多,��入�,方便有多门,归元无二路.
