The 12th September is the birthday of our Guru; Shangpa Rinpoche. It is a worthy day for his devotees and disciples to celebrate his birth date and their good fortune of having such a precious person in their lives. To mark this important day and to express our good wishes to Shangpa Rinpoche for his long life, good health and ability to effortlessly fulfill all his dharma activities, Karma Kagyud Buddhist Centre is organizing a series of meritorious activities.
These events include:
Making 1,000 lamps offerings to the Triple Gems
Three full days Mother Tara retreat with observation of 8 precepts
Konchog Chidu (Union of all Jewels) Puja
Offering of body, speech and mind
Mandala offerings to Rinpoche and longevity prayer
Birthday dinner and animal liberation
We welcome all devotees and well wishers to come and participate in these events. Together, we would dedicate all our merits to wish Rinpoche that may his lotus feet would be firmed and he would compassionately turn the wheel of the profound Dharma and continue to guide us and all beings on the path towards the state of perfect enlightenment. May Rinpoche spontaneously be able to fulfill all his wishes and effortlessly accomplish all his dharma activities.
