if you constanly use vulgar words to always swear, do you incur karma? what about gossiping? women always gossip, big and small matters, even as bo liao as gossip over perfume, car, houses etc.
Vulgar words is considered harsh speech so yes, bad karma.
Best not talk too much, when we talk too much, we end up getting our minds scattered and can gossip about other people's rights and wrongs, or talk about how good or bad this person that person is - this is considered frivolous speech, also bad karma.

Boys also gossip alot nowadays.
IMO, gossiping and chatting are different. Chatting about perfume, clothing is usual way of life to foster friendships etc. When gossipings turns into causing harm, affliction to friendship, family, others and nation, it is not a kind karma. Having said that, it is a good karma and kindness to provide positive feedback to others from entering the "world of disaster" :)
Gossiping or socialising is reaffirming one relevance and existence to others. Such is the samsaric existence of human being both male and female, only different topics!
When in such an environment, be like the lotus arising from the mud, unstainable.
I got bad speech sia, as sometimes I will say shit, f@rk, C@ out of frustrations, rather than swearing and insulting people?

ya me too.. i am trying to be mindful of my words... i believe if we really set our heart to change we can do it~
These habits should be changed....
If you have good speech, you will be more respectable, people will think more highly of you... than if you keep swearing and gossiping all the time. Talk truthfully and constructively.
Your words will then have more credibility.
