  'Seeking but not finding the housebuilder, I have traveled through the round of countless births. How painful is birth over and over again. Oh housebuilder! You have now been caught! You shall not build a house again. Your rafters have been broken. Your ridgepole demolished. The unconditioned consciousness has been attained. And every kind of craving has been destroyed.' (Dhammap�da, verses 153,154)
  
  The 'housebuilder' to which the Buddha refers is just this mental faculty of sankh�ra-khandha whose products, the volitional formations, are conditioned by ignorance.

  Something really funny happened on 11 Oct 2010, early morning ...

  If/when you experienced a dream/vision of a child smiling/laughing at you. Please dont ask for 4D number or money/fortune... , because the child is there to express his happiness, to make you happy, to bless you with happiness so that you can take care of yourself, not to give you 4D numbers

  Yes, you are right that there is negativity hidden in the unconscious/subconusnes mind. You will need a opposite counter against a "negative". I was able to identify and neutralise fear hidden in my subconscious mind with joy, that is why my higher self is really happy about it.

  Thanks for sharing your experience. :)

  Ehmm... about further higher self discussion i will like to request you to either PM me or post on the supernatural forum. I don't wish to confuse readers with terminologies not found in the traditional Buddhist teachings. Sorry about that .

  As mentioned in a previous post, there is 2 distinction experience of the higher self. 1. Is transmission/vision from it. 2. Directly be in the state/realm of the higher self.  Have you had the second experience? It is a good experience to have the second experience, the perspective from that will be different from the one of a human-being living on Earth. BUT, also to take note that higher self is really the full accumulation of understanding gained from the experiences in all the past-lifes. It is wise by the comparision to the individual human-being self but it can benefit from further understandings and realisations. If you can, feed into its databank the insights of no-self, impermanence and if possible too 'emptiness'. The higher self is basically the part of consciousness that is aware of the weariness of endless rebirth cycle... this part of consciousness is more eager to complete the rebirth cycle that the individual incarnations... if you are willing, please gain the neccesary experience and it will automatically be 'recorded' into the memory databank.

  When the insight of no-self is gain and well understood, one will gain a better understanding of how consciousness works. From that point onwards, one may start to use a more thorough and advanced method of clearing than the one being described by you. Basically, one will just let whatever arises on the surface or is being awared of to be pass off from the system equanimously. That way, there will be no additional habit imprints of using counter-ways to neutralise. There is no need for negatives to be neutralised by positive. Negatives become feared when it is judged by the mind as bad. The advanced method do not judge at all. But for that to happen, the insights and realisations must occur first.

  The aforementioned book is explaining to some Buddhists having alternative to be born as heavenly beings due to their lack of self confident to attain enlightenment of Buddhahood in this short lifespan. Poosibly, they are not being informed of a easier, simple and great way of Amitabha land of Paradise as elaborated by Buddha Sakyamuni in 佛说大乘无�寿庄严清净平等觉�解

   

  惑尽�佛第四�一

  慈�白言：云何此界一类众生，虽亦修善，而�求生。佛告慈�：此等众生，智慧微浅。分别西方，��天界，是以��，�求生彼。慈�白言：此等众生，虚妄分别。�求佛刹，何�轮回。

  佛言：彼等所�善根，�能离相，�求佛慧，深著世�，人间�报。虽�修�，求人天果，得报之时，一切丰足，而未能出三界狱中。�使父��妻��男女眷属欲相救�，邪�业王，未能�离，常处轮回，而�自在。

  ��愚痴之人，��善根，但以世智�辩，增益邪心。云何出离生死大难。

  �有众生，虽�善根，作大�田。�相分别，情执深�。求出轮回，终�能得。若以无相智慧，�众德本。身心清净，远离分别。求生净刹，趣佛��。当生佛刹，永得解脱。

  边地疑城第四�

  [43] Then the Bodhisattva Maitreya said to the Buddha, "World-Honored One, for what reason are some of the inhabitants of that land in the embryonic state and the others born by transformation?"
  The Buddha replied, "Maitreya, if there are sentient beings who do various meritorious deeds aspiring for birth in that land while still entertaining doubt, such beings are unable to comprehend the Buddha-wisdom, inconceivable wisdom, ineffable wisdom, boundless Mahayana wisdom, and incomparable, unequaled, and unsurpassed supreme wisdom. Although they doubt these wisdoms, they still believe in retribution for evil and reward for virtue and so cultivate a stock of merits, aspiring for birth in that land. Such beings are born in a palace, where they dwell for five hundred years without being able to behold the Buddha, hear his exposition of the Dharma, or see the hosts of bodhisattvas and shravakas. For this reason, that type of birth in the Pure Land is called 'embryonic state.'
  "If there are sentient beings who with resolute faith accept these kinds of wisdom, from the Buddha's wisdom to the supreme wisdom, do meritorious deeds and sincerely transfer the merit acquired (to that land), [278b] those beings will be born by transformation spontaneously. seated with legs crossed, in the seven-jewelled lotus-flowers, and instantly attain the same glorious forms, wisdom and virtue as those of other bodhisattvas there.
