Received a forwarded e-mail from our moderator _wanderer_ and I think this is worth spreading.
Dear friends,
Sukhi Hotu
Agree to Disagree
- Conversations on Conversion is an e-book offering practical tips to fellow
Buddhists so that we can say "no" compassionately to religious proselytism. The
e-booklet contains simple and effective responses that Buddhists can use when
approached at work, in school, in public places, in hospitals and even at
home.
If you know find this information useful, please help us to email

Buddhists.
More about this
project
We are a group of Buddhists from the counselling, human resource,
social work and teaching professions. We have developed an e-book with practical
tips to fellow Buddhists so that we can say "no" compassionately to religious
proselytism. We decided to do this project after the Prime Minister raised a
concern regarding the maintenance of religious harmony in Singapore at the 2009
National Day Rally. He pointed out that the aggressive pushing of one’s religion
onto others can prove detrimental to our society and highlighted the importance
of maintaining racial and religious harmony through tolerance and restraint, as
well as preserving the common space that all Singaporeans share.
Thank
you very much.
May you be well and happy.
May our country continue to
enjoy peace, prosperity and religious harmony.
