Build an Orchid Garden and Tropical Fish Aquarium

  At the Changi Airport to showcase our country's agriculture products. It will also liven up the place and provide the transit visitors an interesting place to go to instead of doing the usual shopping. Is is feasible ? Any comments ?

  I like the idea of having a Tropical Fish Aquarium unlike the one at Sentosa. I remembered there was one very long time ago but it was closed down for many years liao.

  Yap. One that has both decorative and commercial value. It can be use to showcase our breeds of tropical fish as Singapore is one of the biggest producers in the world. It will add some uniqueness to our airport as well.

  orchid garden may be difficult coz an airport requires the place to be indoors...
  
  but an aquarium.. that's good!

  I think orchid garden works fine since they have open spaces for smokers. They can always dedicate one for the Orchid garden

  I think there is an orchid garden in the airport at the rooftop I think but its not open to public. Read it somewhere cant remember.

  integrate outdoors area into the building... do some landscaping here n there... rather than juz have concrete structures here n there... so boring...
  
  integrate the aquarium into the garden n let the garden be part of the design of the airport...
  
  have a viewing deck in the garden n listen to the roar of the engines as the jets take off... y have a glass panel between the public and the planes...? it's an airport... we shld get closer to the planes...

  An orchid garden, aquarium, art gallery, viewing gallery or roof-top cafe ? I think it will be better with these additions than having an airport that just offer the usual duty free shops.
