Holy Cross rebuilding?

Went for Sunset Mass earlier.
Father Iggy was again delivering the homily. From what he has said, I think my parish may be due for being rebuilt. And from his words, it may be a major one, as in, the whole church may be torn down and rebuilt from ground up.
Just wondering if anyone has been through this? It reminds me of the parish of St. Mary's of the Angels which was totally rebuilt.
Where do the parishioners go for Mass? Other churches? And where do the Parish Priests go during the rebuilding?
Just asking as it may happen soon.
Please share your experiences if your church went through some major renovation or rebuilding.

The church might have to use a small little hall for Mass for the time being, like what OLPS and St Mary did. During this period, a lot of parishioners might attend Mass in other places so as not to squeeze in a tiny hall with a few thousand other parishioners. The building might take 1 to 2 years.

Last time st vincent de paul had upgrading. the canteen become the hall for mass.

i could be jumping the gun.. coz i don't think they have even come up with any plans yet...
and i think monsignor lau would be experienced enough to make the arrangements for the parishioners
i wonder what Holy Cross would look like in the future... kinda looking forward to the plans for the place when unveiled -
My church is undergoing some renovations. At the moment we're using St Peter's Church for our weekly services. Our service is held after theirs.

Currently you're using St Peter's Church (the one near Hougang & Serangoon, right? Or where is it?) Then which church do you go to? Yes, the Primary, Secondary and JC are coming together in the same compound, named St Andrew's Village.

my church supposed to be renovated this month.. but.. it was postponed coz our Parish Priest has a sensitive nose....?!

well think the only way is down....
though holy cross has a bigger following, it has a rather small compound. something like sfa's compound... many ppl now migrates for SMOTA (St Mary's at BB). -
